There should be a setup.exe after you've unzipped. Just find it and run it. That's all there's to it.

Extract unzipped file in different (from MIITW) folder, and then run patch instal into your Medieval one.

    5) go into the /data folder of MTW2 and delte the files data\descr_geography_new.txt and data\descr_geography_new.db manually.

You only need to do that if you run the unpacker, if you don't you can ignore that.

Why do people want to run the unpacker? To play mods right? So this is necessary? If i want to play Clash of Civilizations Mod v1.0.

People need the unpacker so the can easily edit data files and thus MOD the game. You won't need the unpacker to play modded games.

Good patch, if I could just figure out how to do the command line switch for unlimited men.

Now it's my turn to be confused, here. Because when I enter the "Data" folder, there are no text files, only some five other folders, none of whom has the text files you're talknig about.

If you haven't run the unpacker there wont be any text files in the data folder. However if you have run the unpacker you need to delete those 2 files.

It's not the tidiest installer ever written. Should be able to just delete them, and the 'main' folder.

Forget about the command line switch, you don't need it for unlimited men on the battlefield. Just go to your medieval2.preference.cfg file and find unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 0 and change the 0 to 1.
