    Default (Question) Adding Custom Buildings?

    Does anyone know if this is possible or if I'm wasting my time? Trying to make a new garrison building for the Conquer Anywhere - Chaos Edition mod. I've edited a lot of fields but it doesn't seem to show up in game.

    I have a feeling that it not showing up is related to the building subculture table.

    If it isn't possible to add new buildings, does anyone know if it's possible to change the tier position of current buildings?

    I'm still a little new to Buildings, but at a glance it looks like your building_levels is not pointing to the correct building_instances. You may not need to add the culture to the building_variants, since you aren't attaching it to a subculture. You also may need to add some entries to slot_template_to_building_superchain_junctions.

    Awesome, thanks. With your help I got the building to show up in the game! Although, the only buildable option is the final tier, and it's set at a tier 1 requirement. How can I start it at upgrade level 1 and increase the tier requirement?

    Could it be the building level and instance thing you mentioned? I had a look at it and it seems to be referencing fine, unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

    I believe building_instances determines how many you can have in a settlement. It looked like, in building_levels, you were referencing wh_main_horde_chaos_settlement instead of wh_main_horde_chaos_outpost_occupy_1. Also, you only need one entry per building chain in building_instances, then have each tier in building_levels point to the one entry.

    M8! We did it! We have created custom buildings! LET IT ALL COMMENCE!!!
    The one and only thing now is to add a description to it, how does one do this?

    Grats!

    Descriptions are in building_short_description_texts and
    building_flavour_texts, then reference them in building_culture_variants.

    Everything is fixed apart from the descriptions, just can't seem to get them working. But other than that, the buildings are in game and ready to rock.
