    Default Stainless Steel 6.0 Installation

OK, so, I've downloaded Part 1/2, the exe files from Ausgamers. I wanted to play 6.0/6.1 so that I could play Ireland in the grand campaign.

However, I'm not sure what to be doing from here. I think the main issue is that I'm installing it to the wrong place?

I tried installing both of the packets from the .exe files, but after I directed them to there... nothing happened. There's not even a launcher in the installed files.

Am I doing something wrong here? It seems that a lot has changed since 6.0 came out those years ago, so many of the guides for installing it are outdated.

Can anyone please help me out with this?

    Cielo,

Firstly, please don't multiple post in the forum, it is not necessary, I will remove any duplicates.

It is a long time since I installed 6.0/6.1, but it is not an Exe with a Bin Files, if my memory serves me right, 6.0 was two files, 6.1 was one file. When you open the file, it asks where you want to install, but the default is MTW2/Mods, please can you take a screen picture and post it here. If you have installed TATW or Roma Surrectum, it is installed like them.

    Hope this helps

EDIT: All right, I was able to get the game to install and launch properly along with the 6.1 patch, but now whenever I try to enter the campaign in either Late or Early, it will crash without so much as a text box just before the map loads.

I'm sorry for the duplicates, I was in a rush at the time and I just sort of posted without looking.

I don't think a screenshot is necessary, at least for this stage. For now I would just like to know where to install it to on my Steam version when it asks it of me. The default path is under the SEGA folder, but that's obviously not right. I also tried running it to the mod folder, but I either missed something or installed it incorrectly because that did not work.
