Hello,

I've downloaded the patch file several times from various websites and each time it gives me an error whenever I try to apply it to my vanilla game.

It says: "This English update cannot be applied to the [space] version of the game." I have order my version from play.com so I assume it IS the English version. There is more than enough space on my hard drive and I have not altered the vanilla install in any other way than increasing the number of turns.

As I have mentioned, I downloaded the update file several times from different locations, so it is not corrupted.

Any ideas are more than welcome.
