Thanks Noif, I'm the sixth member of the Hall of Gold fame and I have no words to explain how much I love you all guys.

when I firstly posted a screen on TWC, I didn't think people would have liked it, more than action and movement in fact, I search for atmoshere, colour and light, with only history in mind to keep them togheter, so, we could say that I take screens just for dreaming about history, for getting light and colours to build my personal 'what if', I'm in search of a personal space, where history meets my private fantasies (call them dreams, or nightmares if you want ..) populating my mind from the time I was a child, dreaming about that day, under the walls of Wilusa, in which a Goddes in disguise of doriforos, stole by fraud the latest spear from the innocent hand of Hector, a hero and the best of men. So, what if .. and .. under what light?
What was the light illuminating the terrible and hypnotic shield of Achilles, butcher of men and destinies, reflected in the eyes of Hector? Was it a warm, sunny afternoon, maybe the time when the tired peasants come back home from the dusty fields and the evening shadows lengthen themselves on the lives of men and animals? Or was it perhaps a sharp and shiny golden dawn, attending indifferent to the show of the cruel death of the most brave and fair of men? Or maybe was it noon, the time when not even the shadows want to be witness of the bloody crimes of men and gods?

Sorry for yet another crazy rumination by Diocle, congratualtions and thanks to all the other winners, wonderful works!
