    Default Ancient Empires for DEI

I just discovered this submod and it looks really beautiful. Looking forward to play on the augustus map. Thanks for the hard work!
Maybe a this is a dumb question, but how finished is this mod? Can I expect it to have bugs and issues, or is it a functional release with a little lacking polishing? I'm asking because the description says it's just a beta.
Edit: Also, will my DeI mods give me any trouble with this? It seems the unit names, garrison public order and upkeep cost submods work fine.

This forum is talking about the total conversion mod, not the older (semi-related) DeI submod, which was released a long time ago and iirc is no longer maintained.

There is one that was released that only had the map conversion and most everything else was base DEI. I would look for that one. One major issue is that from what I've found, Seleucid suffers from the same problem as Parthia in Rise of Constantine and Rome in Rise of Spartacus, they start too big and the AI is unable to handle it so they don't build units.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

    You mean this one?

It says it's not compatible with mods that change the startpos.esf of the grand campaign, which I assume DEI does.

Come to think of it, the current ancient empires mod will work. The original had some battle changes that made it very hard to play but I think the one in the steam workshop one is basically ancient empires on the Augustus map. Be wary of the lack of challenge from selecuid though

We are also going to be using the IA map work as a foundation for DeI 1.2 release.
