I just had to reinstall Windows because I got a new hard drive. Before I reinstalled windows I could play both Medieval Total War 2 and Battlefield 2142 on my computer.

I'm using a PNY FX 5500. I then reinstalled Windows, and when I start up the games, it goes through the beginning movies, then when it gets to the main game menu, it's one solid color. For MTW2 it's the blue that they use, and for BF2142 it's a grey. I've played both of them enough that I knew where all the buttons were without having to see them, and the game works fine, but all I can see is a solid color.

I've tried driver versions 66.93, 77.77, 78.01, 81.85, 84.21, 93.71, and 91.81.

They all have the same problem except for 66.93, which I can see everything fine on the menu, but the games always crash within the first 5 minutes of gameplay.

Any ideas?
