The host had encountered nothing of note on it's march to Stone Hedge, and soon this pompous Bracken would be forced to answer for his crimes. Frey ordered 600 light cavalry to screen the siegeworks while his men and engineers began construction. The camp was fortified and patrolled both outside the perimeter and within lest some relieving army attempt to break the siege.

    Arrived 5:26am EST, begin siegeworks.

House Piper's army arrived soon after Frey's and the Piper men camped next to their Frey counterparts. Thousands of colourful tents decorated the fields surrounding the castle of Stone Hedge.
Lord Elyas then went to meet with Walder to discuss how would they proceed.

Walder rode before the gates of the keep out of bowshot and under a banner of truce. "Knock, knock" he called out sardonically

Boremund rides out staying well out of range of Frey and his bowmen. "Get the hell off my lands Frey" he growls at the man.

"Blackwood bent the knee. Bracken will be next, and you'll be ounished for making me work for it." he looked behind his shoulder in time to see the Piper forces arriving. "Not even the walls of Kings Landing could repel a force this size." he mused before sputring his horse back to camp. He found Myles and Elyas in the middle of the encampment (retconning a bit so it makes more sense)
"Elyas it is good to see you. I've somecavalry screening our siege but if you could add four hundred to that number I would feel more at ease."

Elyas was surprized to see Tully riding next to Walder. Would he interfere?

"Mylord Tully." He said, bowing his head courteously, and then turned to Frey

"I will send Ser Duncan and four-hundred horses to join your riders, Lord Frey. It was hoping we would face Bracken in an open field, but alas, it won't matter. If this knave thinks that stone walls will save him, he's wrong."

400 light cavalry of Piper's army join the screening force

Myles, after being made aware of Walders absence arrived at the camp with his 50 men, tired from the ride over. With very little sleep for some days, Myles sought Walder out.

He found the old lord mounted on his war horse, his plumed helm flashed in the sunlight. "Ah Myles, good to see you." he said cheerfully. "Come to watch Bracken grovel? He's been sending out ravens but the old windbag hasn't yet shown his face. It's long past time to teach him some humility."

Myles laughed said, "No good father. Publicly I have to be against this. I was told to stay out of it however. Something about Kings orders. I've come to caution so on and so forth. I also came to ask about Blackwood,"
He let slip in his face a grin,
    "Did you abduct the man?"

Walder howled with laughter "I made the unfortunat3 a guest for a time. It seemed preferable to war. I reminded him where his liyalties lied and extracted a limited oath. House Frey now has the power to call Blackwood banners. A pretext, of course, to force him to defend the Riverlands first and foremost before any local squabbles. A good outcome I think. I shall ward his children for a year or two and establish ties of friendship. I was hoping Bracken would be just as unnerved by this show of force, but the man is too proud. The Riverlands stand against him and he remains defiant. I'll exile him and extract the same oaths out of Bracken as I did with Blackwood. Then my house can police their behavior more closely. Between Houses Frey and Whent, these two rogue houses will not shirk the call to arms again."

"Make me." Frey said with a raspy laugh. "You're all bark and no bite, but your insolence and arrogance is a threat to us all. The Riverlands remain safe only if we all stand together against outside threats. You ignore this mandate. You have two options. You can bend the knee to House Frey and do me homage, or you can fight me, lose, and I'll find a Bracken who will do what I ask."

Boremund barks in laughter, "Try and make me Frey. Your army won't be the first to break on these walls." With that he rides back to his keep and prepares for a seige.

Myles laughed a bit, "Well, I have reached an accord with the House Blackwood. Under my thumb they will be until my death. But, I'll need to secure the Lord. It might look like discord outside, but I think that would be good for our general reception."
Myles was impressed but deep down concerned

"Piper," Myles said cooly, "It seems a party has been thrown and I wasn't invited. My own Goodfather." He snickered

"Then Blackwoor is taken care of." Frey concluded. "But I agree with Lord Puper here. If Bracken wants to sit in his keep I'll be happy to sit outside it until hunger makes him act more sanely." so far this affair had been bloodlss and it could remain so. "What friends could Bracken try to bring to his aid?" he asked either man

"If I am not mistaken, his son is the Commander of the Goldcloaks. He may have friends in King's Landing"

He was not too concerned about Bracken's allies. The force gathered by House Frey and House Piper was a mighty one. Elyas worried about Tully.

"Seems of little threat to me. The King won't let Bracken lead his garrison to fight and Blackfyre has no skin in this fight." Walder seemed unconcerned. "Any army trying to break this perimeter will have a time of it."

[OOC: I need to know the recipients of the raven messages before I roll them. I can easily assume the vassal ones and the Darry one, but is the KL one going to the King or Jonos?]
