Permanent Watchtowers Bug

I was wondering if anyone could help fix this, but for some reason whenever I try to re-install SS 6.4 (with 6.3 already installed), I'll try to uncheck the Permanent Watchtowers box- and my setup will just crash. It will freeze, go into not responding: and force me to close the application. I was wondering if anyone knows the fix to this? I don't want to turn on Permanent Watchtowers ( due to a submod which I wish to install ), however- it appears to give me little choice.

Hope anyone can find a solution to this!

SS Setup does not crash unless there is an issue with file access. Make sure that:

1. You run SS Setup as administrator

2. You turned of "User Access Control" in Windows

3. The "read only" attribute of your SS6.3 folder and all subfolders/files is unchecked (right click on the folder, then open "Porperties")
