Is it possible to add new columns to data/db tables?
I all, i'm modding non stop since 2 weeks and the projects slowly takes shape but i'm a little stuck now.
I would like to add some new column to the "unit_special_abilities_table" but I don't know I don't know if it's even possible.
Some questions are pilling up :
- To what file a certain column reffers to? For instance, the column "initial_recharge" have to refers to some file, but where?
I have a strong sense that these files are in coded in a specific language but I could be wrong.
Anyway, does someone here know anything about that?

To my knowledge it's not possible to add new columns. What would you like to add to the table, maybe there is a workaround?

Re: Is it possible to add new columns to data/db tables?
Sorry for my late response, I've been absent for the week end.
Ok, so if it's impossible to add new variables to those already in, the db modding is seriouly limited.
I wanted to add a new column affecting the wind up process to simply cancel it with another ability. Dispeling, in another words.
I seriously think that the main issue of TWW actually is the absence of a working dispeling system. Why? Because the spells are in need to be way more dreaful than they already are. Spells like the Purple Sun of Xereus is a real threat in TT but completely useless in TWW.
The only way to add a lore and TT friendly dispeling ability is to make it able to cancel a wind up. Actually there is the option to change the wind up time, but that's not the way.
So, i'm a little frustrated to be unable to create this kind of ability, just because CA is limiting us in modding db files...
