    My issue is simply that the lines in the campaign_script, after the first battle script lines:

    while ! I_BattleStarted
    end_while
    won't activate in campaign. If I comment out these lines, the scripts runs fine. Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it? New installation doesn't help, I've tried. The 2.2a script worked fine.

    That is bizarre; it's the trigger for the battle script, and this is the first report of an issue with it. Especially weird, because we've been using it without issue.

    What operating system are you playing on (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc)? Have you modified your campaign_script at all?

    Are you getting the marker on the mini-map that says the script is invalid? What error are you getting?

    Windows XP, no modifications, no invalid script marker and there is no errors or CTD. I first noticed the absence of various notifications (playtime reminder, YIH's, No UI etc.), and when I looked at the system log, I noticed that the while-command of the battle script was the last line of the campaign script that was logged.

    I actually just noticed that if I do battle on the battle map, the script starts running as intended... I'll do some more testing

    I did more testing, and the problem is that the campaign script won't run fully until i fight one battle on a battle map. After the first battle, the script seems to be functioning properly even after loading a save. Does the script run smoothly for everyone else? No missing announcements?

    BTW. Is there a way to know if the battle script is running during a battle?

    Hello,

    Dunno if related with the Samson224 issue, but it is true that in my last 2, 3 campaigns that i have started i am "missing" the first screen about " the year in the history"? where it explain the different calendars, also missing the screen that told you how to hide UI to take screenshots. Info screens i get in very first turn are only the one to select potential sucessor and the "faction info screen" ( money, settlements, armies and stuff). It is true that as makedon, Kh or Carthage i have a battle in first, second or third turn. But i think Samson224 is right and something is happening.
