Gaining Ryon a Wife
At the Tourney of Castamere some years ago, young Ryon had met and become enamoured with Lady Falia Kenning of Kayce. They had maintained some correspondence, but the coming of the war dragged Ryon off to fight and they temporarily lost contact.
Nearing his mid-twenties, it was past time Ryon took a wife, and he could think of none better. Approaching his father on the subject, Raymar agreed that the match was worthy and the pair travelled to Kayce to request the Lady's hand.
The two Lords, Raymar of Goldentooth and Lester of Kayce, met in Lord Lester's solar to discuss the proposal.
"Ryon is a worthy match," said Raymar, drinking some wine, "He proved himself brave in leading the assault on Pinkmaiden, and intelligent in organising the siege lines during the siege of Darry. Your daughter would be wed to an upstanding knight, Lord Lester."
[OOC: Raymar has +5 Charisma, plus whatever other modifiers, positive or negative, the mods decide upon.]

He is skeptical, "What does house Lefford offer Kayce in such an arrangement?" He asks eyes narrowing.

Re: Gaining Ryon a Wife
"My firstborn sits on the Small Council, my own daughter is married to Lord Tywin Lannister, and my House gained glory in the war by seizing two enemy castles," said Raymar, "We are powerful, well connected, and are High Lords like your own family."
He drank another mouthful of wine.
"Besides that, you know she has been corresponding with Ryon: they already like each other. There is no downside to this arrangement on your part."
