No Videos or Speeches

(Playing using Lusted'd great Lands to Conquer v. 1.1)

I've gotten a problem playing the game recently. Firstly, playing as the Byzantines, there are no pre-battle speeches. I wait in every phase of pre-fighting for nearly a minute, but my generals never make a peep. I'm disappointed, since the speeches were great in Rome and not having any due to some bug is annoying.

And there are no Assassination videos. Every time I kill someone, a box appears in the corner, I click it, and I just get a text saying I killed and a box asking whether or not I want to turn off these videos. Obviously I don't, so I never checked it. Of course there are no videos in the first place, so it really doesn't matter.

So what happened to my game? Which file do I have to plumb, or wait for the long-overdue unpacker to plumb, to be able to get both of these features, which are crucial for the atmosphere in this game.

Please help if you have any.

If you want the videos, you need to copy the FMV folder over to the /landstoconqer/ folder.

As for the battle speeches, I don't know. Some people solved their problem by fiddling with graphical options, but that sounds like strange to me.
