No animation and pre-battle speeches

ack... just got my game recently, and when i played it, i wanted to see the assasination animation, it turns out that there were no animation for it, just an instant kill, same goes for building a huge cathederal, marriage and stuff. Besides, there are no speeches by the generals before the battle, anyone have any idea on how to fix it? i suspect it is my graphic card that is playing foul =.=

I can't answer the assassin thing, and what do you mean by the huge cathedral/marriage?

As for speeches just wait, they come. Unless you're playing the Turks... they don't have speeches for some reason, bug I'm guessing.

About the assassin videos. When you kill/get killed/miss a target a box appears in the lower left corner, same as end turn repor. Open it there you have an option that you can put on or off. That's the animations.

you know, when you build a huge cathederal, it will appear like if you captured a wonder in RTW, having the animation moving abt the cathederal, but what appears for me, it's total pitch black. ... was waiting like 1 min for the speech, heard nay so i just started that battle, ish playing with Spaniards now

Eien- Spanish should be getting all that. Methinks you accidentally whacked a line of code in some cfg file?
