eb.system.log.txt file not created

After the installation of eb2.2 I have some CTDs mostly at the end of city battles.
But I don't see a "log" folder and the file eb.system.log.txt is never created or written.

The two lines are added in the ebii.cfg to enable the log (I assume the * must stay, you don't need to add another value?).
the folder has full control permission and is excluded from the antivirus.
I don't understand why the file is not there.

I also manually created the folder and the file but after a CTD the size is still at 0kb.

Most likely, your game is not reading ebii.cfg at all, and is using only the settings in medieval2.preference.cfg in your M2TW main folder - at least, this is the behavior on my installation. In this case, it will be recording the game log into the system.log file in the M2TW main folder.

It's also worth noting that after making manual changes to medieval2.preference.cfg, it may be necessary to go into the file's Properties and set it to read-only to prevent the game from reverting the changes upon launch.
