I'm playing a new Baktria campaign (v2.2b) and noticed an error in the faction missions script.
For one mission, you are assigned to upgrade the wall in Alexandreia-Eschate. I had completed upgrading the wall there but nothing happened, and when I loaded a previous save to check the mission status (pressing the "=" key) it ended up pointing out Alexandreia-Ariane as the mission target. I was sure that it was supposed to be Eschate so I started looking in the campaign_script.txt file and here's what I found.
In the mission script section, apparently this mission is called "Waypoint". Sure enough, it clearly states that this mission is a "wall level check in Alexandreia-Eschate". The beginning event monitor denotes the settlement in question as sett_142, and a quick search for region_142 in the descr_strat.txt confirmed that this was indeed Alexandreia-Eschate.
However, once you get down to the Mission Success section of the script, all of a sudden the settlement indicator changes to sett_134, which turns out to be Alexandreia-Ariane when checking the descr_strat.txt. So it appears that this is in error and should be changed to sett_142.
Now, can I just change this myself to sett_142 for my game and it will function properly with my save games? Or would I have to start a new campaign?
Thanks!
Note: this error also manifests in the "Baktria Mission Repeats" section of the script, which I assume to be the script to do with pressing the "=" key to review a mission. Under the "Waypoint" mission heading the settlement indicator is again sett_134, and the "reveal tile" indicator is "406, 177" with a text note that this is "Alexandreia-Eschate", despite the fact that the script above for the "Ferghana" mission also has a note for "Alexdreia-Eschate", but the settlement indicator is sett_142, and the reveal tile is 440, 217.
