Well you want to find a computer that has PCI-express and can have it's memory expanded to at leat 4 GB. You would need at least a 250Gb hardrive. You may want a DVD-+RW/CD-+RW optical drive (make sure it supports Dual Layer DVD's) You would need a good graphics card. I would also recommend getting a computer with an AMD X2 processor or an AMD 64 bit processor. But thats just me. (I hate Intel)

Is the dual processor problem with Medieval II only restricted to that game or are the other programs/games that have the same issue?
Other than that it sounds pretty good, what graphics card is really good? Is the ATI Radeon or Nvidia's GeForce best?

There may be other programs that may have that error, but in the future the dual core processors will be the way to go. I've never had an ATI card, but I can tell you that my Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT 256MB AGP8X can run every game out there at max or medium max settings without lag.

Here's a list of games I can run on my computer at full settings:
Medieval 2 TW (If its a huge battle say against 10,000 units I have to turn the settings down alot)
    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    Company of Heroes
    F.E.A.R
    Doom3 & ROE
    Star Trek Legacy
Need for Speed Carbon & Need for Speed Most Wanted
