The base of Lucifer and his fleet of pirates lies within the province of The Broke Arm on the Dornish Coast. The area is sparsely populated and few if any know of the presence of the pirate hideaway. Only the Prince of Dorne and possibly the local noble family know of its location and it is a closely guarded secret.

Lucifer receives the man on deck as he sits in a chair brought on the deck while the ship is docked in one of the ports of the Crownlands.

"You seek the commodore of this fleet?"

'Aye. Been at sea since I could walk.', he said and pointed at his sword. 'The blade's battle-tested too, against pirates that were fool enough to attack.'

Lucifer nods and pulls at his beard, "What sort of job are you looking for? I have need of marines and a commander for them as well." The addition of a man skilled with the sword might be useful in leading the fleet's marines.

The Tyroshi man laughed and smacked the younger man on the back. "You're in then boy! We sail south towards Dorne to see what their prince wants to employee us for. Make sure that blade is sharp!"

A part of thirty horsemen arrive from the southern horizon, leading an ox-drawn cart up along the eastern coasts of Dorne, skirting the inland heat.
A few of the Dornishmen come forward, dismounting the cart and pulling from it several chests and setting them down on the beach before whatever sellsails are present.

Counted up as the men from Sunspear later ride back the way they came, the chests carried forty thousand coins - undebased and uncut, being true golden dragons, stags, and moons; the oldest coin dated back to the reign of Aerys I, minted with that king's face and the year "215 Hafder Cuenquyst".

"what is this plan Aurane?" Lucifer is clearly depressed. Destroying the pirates in the Stepstones had done nothing for his fleet or himself. Perhaps it was time to retire and let others roam the seas.

'Valyrian Steel swords, captain. They're worth lordships. We're a seafaring bunch so where can we find such swords? The answer is Iron Islands.', Aurane spoke. 'Two houses of the Iron Islands possess such treasure. House Drumm of Old Wyk and House Harlaw of Ten Towers. If we lanch a suprise attack at these keeps in parallel, they would have very little chance to resist us.'
