    That's the last twenty lines or so - I don't know if it'll help but that loading screen bit looked fishy to me. First crash I've had apart from one after I'd alt+tabbed in and out once or twice.

    Last 20 lines doesn't really help, I'm afraid - that's a really long time between crash and last operation.

    The log isn't very helpful - I don't know why, but we seem to have a lot more post-battle crashes in 2.2 than we did in 2.1b.

    Do you always wait 10-15 seconds after the results appear before clicking on the tick?

    Sometimes; I like to check the results in detail. But on this occasion I don't recall waiting THAT long - I didn't look at the extended results, if you see what I mean. Then again if the log's showing that, I'm probably remembering wrong. So do you think that's making a difference?

    Any guesses within the team as to why, based on things that were changed between the two that could affect it? Has it been effecting everyone internally as well as the increased number of reports publicly?

    Now this is the thing that's causing me not to dive in full force with a campaign, which is getting harder and harder! I wanna hit end turn on this Mak save so bad, but I can't let myself be sucked in only to experience heartbreak after some massive immersive battle... I could never redo one after that, or even auto-resolve or anything, without a little piece of me dying. I need mental help. But I'd prefer a stable EBII.

    Oh and that's interesting about the waiting after battles thing... I wonder if it's really true, or like a weird human superstitious/religious correlation thing where we attach significance to otherwise seemingly random occurrences based on timing and other factors... either way, I'm waiting at least 15 seconds after every battle now (even though I probably already do because I look through the detailed stats like Boogie Knight) and making offerings to the altar of processing time allocation!

    It's not something the log would show, more a trick learned the hard way. That 10-15 second wait gives the battle engine time to close and the campaign engine time to restart, along with any processing to pass between them.

    Oh, I think I misunderstood you. So you're saying I SHOULD wait 10-15 seconds after a battle before clicking back to the campaign map?

    Yes, I'm saying you should wait. It's an old RTW trick, but the engines aren't different enough that the same won't be true. I definitely notice a change in the processing sounds of my machine (from heavy duty to much quieter) in that waiting period.
