Starting skill points for agents? Skill groups dependant on another group possible?
Hello everyone,
Haven't done any total war modding previously, but the warhammer edition has got me wanting to make a couple. Unfortunately information seems a bit scarce on the topic as yet.
I'm wanting to test some changes to agent skill trees, I can add the agents to the start_loc stuff no problem. But I can't find a way to set their level/skill points? Changing the number of skill points for level 0/1 doesn't seem to have any effect. Is it possible to add an agent in the start_loc and have it be say level 10 with 9 allocated skill points?
The second part of my query is about the skill groupings. You can have a number of skills in a group that are unlocked by a previous single skill or a single skill that is unlocked by having at least x points in a previous group. Can you have a group of skills that is unlocked by having x points in a previous group? Eg. (skill1, skill2, skill3)->(skill4, skill5)
Thanks!

Hmm. Point one should be easy as long as you want to affect an entire agent subtype, via character_skill_nodes>points_on_creation (see the dummy spells like Nehek that have 1 point on creation). Even if you want only one agent to be affected, you should be able to just give him his own skill set and set his starting stuff from there.
Point two... from the sound of it it COULD end up requiring both following skills (4 and 5 in your example) to have x points in the previous group. But it should be easy to test.
