    Hi there

    Very much enjoying EBii in my first playthrough but I've had an error

    Description of issue


    Crash with "unspecified error" message at end of turn 182 (immediately hitting end turn button)

    save and message log attached

    Stuff I've tried

    I deleted map.rwm file and tried again - still crashed
    I checked shader setting at 1 in the prefs - set to 1
    Changed various stuff in-game (characters, buildings) but still crashes

    Guesses
    The last line in log before the crash message is about an adoption - could it be the character to be adopted doesn't exist or conflicts in some way?

    A major capital city of Leusitanians (Octuraca) was occupied and set to revolt - could it be related to the buildings in the city?



    I'm hoping you can suggest a fix - the last save before this was 3 hours before and I'd hate to have to go back to that

    From now on I'll make saves at start and end of turn

    Sorry, I've just seen the notice about v2.2b - I'll install that patch and try again

    Please ignore the previous, I wasn't aware of the update

    Note that deleting your map.rwm will have no impact on a game in progress (apart from making saves un-loadable until you restore it).

    Normally I'd say it's just a UI crash, given the amount of time between last trace and crash:

    However, we changed some of the Roman gens recently, and I wonder if there's a faulty trigger in the EDCT now, referencing a name that no longer exists.

    Thanks for looking into that for me - probably the map mistake messed up any subsequent attempts to fix it.

    But I just restarted a SPQR campaign with v2.2b - I'll consider the first campaign just a learning process and start anew, with lots of regular saves

    I like the absence of land bridge at the Strait of Messina - I didn't like having Carthaginians just wandering around Italy for no reason before.

    Will give feedback on v2.2b later, no doubt
