The representative of House Crag is welcomed into Clegane Hall, and given Guest Rights. HE is greeted by an enormous man in the Castle's Solar.

"What can House Clegane do for you, Ser?"

Daemon Westerling the lord of the crag and head of the Westerling family looked up at the large man and blinked a few times. He has never seen such a large man before.in fact the man had to be a giant by the looks of it. Some of his household guard looked at the man in fear and even his own son looked at the man with wonder and fear. Still he came here for a reason to introduce himself to his fellow Westerlanders and to make alliances on the way

" Greetings House Clegane, My name is Daemon Westerling Lord of the Craq, I come here to speak to you about a possible Alliance between our houses and trade between our houses as well . As you know my daughter is of age to marry and I would like her to marry a fellow Westerlander. And I was hoping we could discuss a possible marriage alliance between our two houses as well as speak about a possible trade agreement between our houses as well . " Daemon Said in a soft voice.. Eddward made a face but decided not to say anything. The boy had a lot to learn about politics and why it was important to make marraige alliances. although he was not sure if this house even had a son to marry.. Still he needed a conversation opener and that was the best he could come up with.

The Hound of House Clegane simply shrugged. He had no sons.

"I am sorry, my Lord. I have no sons and I have yet no desire to take a wife. I am sorry your journey was wasted."

Daemon Westerling Looked at the Lord and raised a eyebrow.. How could a man not have a wife or a son.. Does the man not wonder about succession and who will take his family name once he is gone ?. Still it was not his place to question the man about why he had no wife or sons.. But the Journey was not wasted Not by any means. His son though looked at his father with a look that said he wanted to leave the room and explore. He was tempted to let the boy do that.. But he had a feeling it would only lead to the boy doing something foolish.

" Nonsense The Journey was not a waste at all. It is always good to speak to fellow Lords of the Westernlands and to get to know them better. I will say though that it is important to fine a wife and sire a son.. For succession reaons and also because sons always have a way to make you feel proud. But enough of that have you heard any word from our Liege lord yet ?. I have not heard anything from him and it worries me greatly. Normally he would have contacted me by now.. But he has not and it has worried me. Has our liege lord contacted you yet ? " He asked in a soft calm voice.. He needed information about what his liege lord was doing as he was clueless.. And what better way to make it seem he had worry for the man. Yes he was loyal to the Lannisters but that did not mean he worried about them constantly.

Robar raised an eyebrow slightly. Many men thought he was stupid because of his size, but he had never been patronized in his own keep before.

"I am well aware of the point in taking a wife, but as my House ascended from the peasantry only one generation ago, I do not have the all-crushing desire to marry anybody with a that the nobility seems to have! As for Lord Lannister, I am - in his words - his dog. I fight for him, I lead men for him and if needs be, I'll die for him. His health in nothing to do with me, and it is none of my concern. I am simply here to serve him, not look after him. In addition to that, I am only a Minor Lord, a Landed Knight, he would not confide anything unnecessary into one of such low status."

Daemon Westerling Nodded his head in understanding.. He was also just a minor Lord under a Liege Lord. At times he forgot about that and now he was reminded of it once again. He was a nobody in the grand plan that his liege lord had. He had only one duty and that was to follow his Liege lord and lord Paramount and do whatever they said. The mans words stung but they were none the less true. He was just a minor Lord and nothing more. They both were.

" I am sorry if I caused you offense as I did not mean to. My House is a old house although we have lost most of our standing the last few years because of reasons and other things. But that story is for another day and time. I asked only because I have head rumors that he was captured in battle although i hope it was not true and he was just busy. Anyway I am sorry again for upsetting you. I understand as that is what my house does as well.. We fight for him, We die for him if need be and we lead him our troops when he needs them. " He placed a hand on his lip for a second before looking at Eddward briefly. But he pushed that thought aside.. The boy would learn from the Lord Paramount.. Not from another Minor Lord house.

" Anyway I best be getting rest before my Journey home. May me and my Son and men stay for a night or two before heading back home ? "

A Raven arrives to Clegane Hall from Stonehelm in the Stormlands. It is an invitation from lady Swann to discuss the possibility of trade between two houses.

OOC: by the rules, this raven arrives in about 13 hours from now.
