Cheers

Of course they will. They are also going to be playable, as you can see in the thread here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...28WIP%29/page7
I would really like to make units for Scotland! I'll probably work on those guys after I finish the Scandinavians.
Nice one, the only real modding i've done was britannic units for Rome 2, now incorporated into the Radious TW mod. I would like to make some units also. Though I'm only really able to mess around with exsisting assets and not create new armours etc.
+1 for Scotland. Nice to see mod is progressing.
Here I leave some images of the Units like me

A Question will add units Scotland with their skirts and Medieval II Total War Kingdoms
Oh dear, the dreaded Braveheart Medieval 2 kilts! I can't discern which film has damaged more views of accurate Medieval history: Braveheart or The Kingdom Of Heaven?![]()
Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
excuse me appear Kingdom in my native Spanish Language Kingdom I mean, I'm from Argentina.
Hi all, I was researching about the Kings and Monarchs of Scotland and here I found William I who was ruling in Year 1165 - 1214
William I (Medieval Gaelic: mac Uilliam Eanric, modern Gaelic: mac Uilleam Eanraig), known as the Lion or Garbh, "Gross", 1 (1142/1143 - Dec. 4, 1214) reigned as King of Scotland from 1165 to 1214. His reign was the second longest in the history of Scotland before the Act of Union with England in 1707, (that of James VI was the longest 1567-1625). He became king after the death of his brother Malcolm IV on December 9, 1165 and was crowned on December 24, 1165.
He was the son of Prince Henry of Scotland and Adeline de Varenne. Captured by Henry II of England in 1174, in Alnwick, he was forced to acknowledge vassalage. He regained the independence of Scotland in 1189 under the reign of Richard I of England, but was defeated by John Lackland in 1209
Here I leave the image of your face

I think you could put that first comes after the Alexander II that if Reinado began in 1214, hope to be helpful.![]()
For the sake of research, this article (Journal of the Armour Research Society, Volume 1, 2005) where it goes over the knightly effigies of Scotland that would constitute the 1400s by looking at a selected examples.I'll post it now, before I forget, because it should no doubt be useful in the future. To give general recap, they are, let's say slow to modernize and a step behind central Europe on several fronts. Never really pushing it when it comes to late 15th century.
EDIT:
James III (1456)
"And that no poor man nor unprovided be charged to come to any raids in England, and that each man whose goods extend to 20 marks be furnished at least with jack, with sleeves to the hand or else a pair of splints, a sallet or a pricking hat, a sword and a buckler, a bow and a sheaf, and if he can not shoot that he shall have an axe and a targe either of leather or of board with two handis (handgrips?) on the back. And throughout all shires they are to be warned to provide for such things and to come and make their 'weapon-showing' before the sheriffs, bailies or stewarts of regalities on the morning after the law days after Yule. And whoever comes not bearing as appropriate, after his fault, is to be punished in his goods, and so forth their 'weapon-showing' is to be continued from 30 days to 30 days, etc. "
Source, levy laws.
EDIT 2:
Tobias Capwell talks about both sides of the scot-anglo conflicts. Essencially, the English had generally a lot more up-to date equipment. The scots on the otherhand, for the most part, didn't. Those who had good equipment were few, due to raiding English lands for some time. Some also getting supplies from the French, but overall, not exactly top notch knightly armour for the most of them.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga- The pranks played on the knight Jean de Joinville, 1249, 7th crusade.I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

A couple of sources relating to West Highland warriors and chiefs.
Is there any word as to when Scotland will be added to this mod?
I was surprised Scotland wasn't in the mod. I'd love to play as them in custom battles.
Scottish warriors with claymore like in the movies would be fun to play. Chopping away the bloody english tyrants like its nothing![]()
claymores come a bit later than our mod's timeframe, but long swords used with two hands, sure.
