Information Thread for Potential Vampire Counts Units
From their powerbase within the former Imperial province of Sylvania, the descendants of the Von Carstein bloodline have vied time and again to topple the authority of the Empire of Man. Since the time of Vlad von Carstein, it is the sole purpose of the Von Carstein family to inherit the Empire as their own, using attempts of legitimacy, assassination and outright invasion to achieve such ambitions. Yet time and again they've been pushed back towards Sylvania and hunted ceaselessly for their horrific origins. Yet no matter how many Von Carsteins fall, there always seems to be another willing to take its place, disturbing the graves of the dead and plotting to finally plunge the Empire into their cruel tyranny.

Vampire BloodlinesSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Vampires are immortal beings that have spread the loathsome curse of Undeath across the realms of Men for centuries. Though many lineages of this foul race now live in the rain-swept forests of the far north, their true origins lie within the once great civilisation of Nehekhara. The true masters of Undeath; they retain much of their original intelligence and capabilities despite their curse, and hence retain their ambition and desire. This makes them very dangerous indeed, for Vampires, due to their immortality, have an extensive period of time in which to hone their skills and refine their schemes to utter perfection. There are five major bloodlines of vampire, these are:
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Vampire
Von CarsteinsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Most of the history of the bloodline is lost: specifically, everything between Vashanesh becoming a vampire and the resurgence of Vlad. Some claim that Vlad and Vashanesh are one and the same, but none can confirm this. They are seen as having close bonds with animals such as wolves and bats. These vampires have no particular modifications and several of their bloodline powers emphasise their ties with animals. They are hereditary rulers of Sylvania.
https://www.games-workshop.com/fr-CA...uestid=7574630
Blood Tax Collectors = The Tax in Sylvania is the tax of Blood. Families and communities are expected to give up a family member or one of their number to feed their lords. The idea of this unit was that these would be mortal humans who do the collecting for them.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi...#The_Blood_Tax
Doom Wolves = Vampires sometimes keep the largest of these creatures in pens deep below their castles and towers, feeding them on local peasants until they are large and glutted, then goading them to new heights of viciousness. The Vampires imbue their creations with Dark Magic to increase vitality and bestow a callous cunning. These monstrous creations are known as Doom Wolves.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Dire_Wolves
Drakenhof Templars = The original Drakenhof Templars were a genuine knightly order. Founded long before Otto von Drak was usurped by Vlad von Carstein, they had the noble goal of driving the darkness out of Sylvania. Needless to say, they failed, and Konrad von Carstein himself tore the last Grand Master apart hundreds of years ago. There were several iterations of the order, for Vlad and his heirs were ever imitators of human tradition, and the most recent incarnation of the order was compromised of vampires considered unworthy to bear the von Carstein name.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi..._Dragon_Orders
Mindless Nulls = The new Vampire will be a thrall to the old, and as time goes will either become nothing more than a mindless null, or become stronger and break free from their master. These mindless nulls are those who were given the Blood Kiss but have succumbed to the will of their vampric ‘fathers’, they follow all he commands. The Von Carsteins view those of this affliction as pathetic and throw them into battle in the hopes of killing them off.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Vampire#Reproduction
Sylvanian Conscripts = Mortal humans who fill the roles of the basic troops of the Empire. Likely smaller in size due to the smaller population of Sylvania.
Sylvanian Levy Archers = Von Carstein armies are unique because the peasants of Sylvania still consider them as their legitimate rulers and gladly fight for them.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...DlMdktzeWcyU0E Warhammer Fantasy 6th Edition Vampire Counts Army Book
Sylvanian Levy Crossbowmen = Von Carstein armies are unique because the peasants of Sylvania still consider them as their legitimate rulers and gladly fight for them.

Sylvanian Levy Free Company Militia (Greatswords) = Von Carstein armies are unique because the peasants of Sylvania still consider them as their legitimate rulers and gladly fight for them.

Thralls = The new Vampire will be a thrall to the old, and as time goes will either become nothing more than a mindless null, or become stronger and break free from their master. They are those given the Blood Kiss who thrive under their new condition.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Vampire#Reproduction
Dismounted Drakenhof Templars
Blood DragonsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:They are consummate warriors, whose skill at arms are unmatched in the Old World, living only for martial combat and brutal battle. Usually fighting from horseback, the Blood Dragons sometimes fight on foot, and are masters of all forms of combat and all weapons, though they eschewed cowardly ranged weapons and magic in favour of pure physical strength and martial skills.
Abhorash’s Disciples = Abhorash's disciples dispersed far and wide across the world, seeking to emulate the achievements of their undying master. Many died in battle against heroic warriors and fearsome beasts, others survived and their names passed into legend and infamy. They are among the greatest vampires of their bloodline.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi...ion_and_Legacy
Blood Knights = Their training and discipline in life was enhanced by the unnatural speed and strength of the vampiric curse. Blood Knights were nigh indestructible, riding with fangs bared through storms of arrow and shot. Such was their honour that they would refuse no martial challenge, and would fight at the forefront of an Undead army without question.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Blood_Knight
Initiates of the Dragon = New vampires of the Blood Dragon Orders, they may not have embraced their powers fully yet but the Blood Dragons only turn those who are exceptionally skilled warriors, so even these initiates are dangerous.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Blood_Dragons
Knights of the Bloody Grail = Duke Maldred claimed to have found the Grail of the Lady and had all his knights drink from the wine that flowed from the heavy silver cup. The grail was proved false, and Maldred was routed and Mousillon prohibited from having a lord ever again. But the cup’s liquid appeared to give Maldred’s knights an unholy strength.

The Lahmian SisterhoodSpoiler Alert, click show to read:The Lahmians may not have the brute strength of some of the other bloodlines, but they more than make up for this lack in cunning, deviousness, and their mastery of others. The Lahmians are secret string-pullers of the world, invisibly exerting untellable control over history. Their immortal plots are difficult for short-lived humans to see, and some that were set in motion in antiquity have yet to come to fruition.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Lahmians
Acolytes of the Blood = These are mortals who are the loyal servants of the households of Lahmian vampires; these are almost always women, many of whom hope to be given the Dark Gift and raised up to being vampires of the sisterhood.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Lahmians#Society
Asaph = Lahmia Vampires who wield Asp Bows similar to the one in the wiki entry below.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Asp_Bow
Black Guard = Undead wights covered head to toe in black, hiding their skeletal forms from the eyes of the Queen of the Silver Pinnacle. I’m guessing they’ll be like Grave Guard? “Surrounding the court is a network of trapped passages and Undead guards covered from head-to-toe in black.”
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Silver_Pinnacle
Coven Throne = The monarchs of the night are often borne to war on gilded palanquins. These bone-frame constructs are held aloft by the spirits of those who have fallen in love with their owners and got nothing in return but death. Men shiver in awestruck disbelief at the exotic beauty of the handmaidens lounging upon these Coven Thrones - hypnotised by a beguiling glance, a kiss upon the air, or a subtle finger beckoning them into eternal servitude. Should go without saying that only female vampires would be on this.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Coven_Thrones
Lahmian Sorceresses = It is known that the Lahmian Vampires have a grasp of sorcery, a strong grasp, and that their queen is one of the eldest sorceresses in the world. It stands to reason that a unit of casters would work well for this bloodline.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Lahmians#History
Risen Dawi = Skeletons of Dwarves that were risen into undeath to evict the Dwarves from the mines of the Silver Pinnacle. Many of these still serve the Lahmian’s, just kept out of sight as these vampires prefer their playthings to be beautiful.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Silver_Pinnacle
Swains = "Heroes from any other Warhammer Armies book, or Ravening Hordes if the book is not out yet. Swains are equipped exactly as normal for their army list, including any mount and magic item they could normally take from their own list. If the Lahmian General, the immortal object of their desire, is destroyed, then the Swains will be subject to the rules for hatred for the rest of the game, even if normally Immune to Psychology." - Due to the vast number of options I won't list them all here, but I'd assume they'd come from any human faction.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...DlMdktzeWcyU0E Warhammer Fantasy 6th Edition Vampire Counts Army Book
The Deathless Court = Queen Neferata handmaidens; The handmaidens vie for Neferata’s attention, practising their manipulations on each other in the Deathless Court’s society in miniature where they may betray whilst smiling sweetly. I’d assume these would be amongst the most dangerous of the Queen’s vampires. They could be mounted or not, no idea, up to you.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Lahmians#Society
Brotherhood of NecrarchsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:The Necrarchs are the most learned of Vampires, more skilled at sorcery than with the blade. These skills have come at a price, however. The appearance of the Necrarchs has grown so hideous and unnatural that an ordinary man cannot bear to look upon them, and many run screaming at the sight. When their great library was burned to the ground by fearful mortals, many Necrarchs remained to burn with it, so strong was their devotion to knowledge.
Abyssal Terrors = Some of these monsters are creatures of Chaos born from the mountains, the resurrected hybrids of rapacious beasts or resurrected monsters that were given life with the use of necromancy. Others are nightmarish creations that were given bodies of writhing blood and flayed skin thanks to the use of science and dark magic. The most common of these variants are generally winged creatures.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Abyssal_Terrors
Dregs = Outcasts, mutants and other mortals who seek out the Necrarchs to find the acceptance they’d never find elsewhere.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Necrarch#Society
Necrarch Acolytes = Necrarch vampires who are studying under a master Necrarch Sorcerers, they are often the targets of their masters mad delusions and frequently these will attempt to overthrow their insane masters whilst suffering the same insanity themselves.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Necrarch
Necrarch Sorcerer = A very powerful necromancer.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Necrarch
Nightmarish Constructs = Monstrous golems.
https://i.imgur.com/ehUgAFt.png White Dwarf 256
Patchwork Men = Monstrous creations of necromancy, stitched together corpses of men that retain a semblance of their former selves. Often these turn on the Necromancers who made them, but if controlled they are like an uber-zombie.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Patchwork_Men
Unridden Zombie Dragon = "Necrarch armies always include major necromantic constructs, such as Winged Nightmares and Zombie Dragons. So great is their power over their unliving minions that these huge beasts can fight on their own, without the need of a rider to directly control them."
https://i.imgur.com/lMPP8s8.png White Dwarf 142
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...DlMdktzeWcyU0E Warhammer Fantasy 6th Edition Vampire Counts Army Book
Warpspawn Necrarchs = Necrarchs have experimented replacing the need for blood with a need for warpstone but all have failed. Many have failed catastrophically, becoming even more warped than they already are. They become bloated abominations that cannot walk, bestial creatures worse than the Strigoi, awful things like Chaos Spawn with impossible forms too bizarre to hold together.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Necrarch#Society
Strigoi Ghoul KingsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:The Vampires of the other bloodlines play at being mortal and wear the robes of lords, knights, and princes, but underneath, the Vampire is purely a beast. There are those who lose themselves so much in their pretence that they forget this. The Strigoi have not forgotten and do not pretend. They embrace the beast within them, taking all the strength and fury the animal can give them. That strength is terrible to behold, and that fury knows no end.
Ajal = "Vorag watched them go, and then turned to look down the slope where his followers waited. There were six of them – five Strigoi ajals, clad in furs and banded mail, their heads shaved clean save for the traditional scalp-locks that marked blooded warriors amongst the Strigoi, and one other, clad in tattered robes and clutching a staff topped by a man’s skull, the yellowed bone carved with strange symbols and words in a language long since dust."
Charnel Guard = "Ghouls with WS4, S4, I4, LD7"

Mourkhain Guardians = "Two armoured shapes stepped out of specially prepared niches set in the wall to either side of the throne. They wore ancient armour composed of rotting leather and bronze plates and carried crude, square-bladed swords."
Warhammer Fantasy Short Story: Master of Mourkhain
Strigany = Human followers longing for a return to the days of their glory. The maddest of these nomads seek out the Strigoi Ghoul Kings in a twisted, perverted method of living out their dreams. They are fanatically loyal to these gruesome vampires, though deeply terrified of them as well. In the 6th Edition Book they use two hand weapons and can wear light armour.

Strigany Horse Nomads = ”Cresting the Deihstein Ridge, the Grand Theogonist saw a chaotic battle unfolding between a caravan of Strigany horse nomads and the mud-splattered soldiers of von Korden’s contingent.”
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...WhndVE0VklZZDA Sigmar’s Blood - Page 24
Strigany Sharpshooters = ”Thundering down the hill, Volkmar’s War Altar ploughed into a trio of brightly-painted cloth wagons that blocked the road, bowling them over and trampling several Strigany sharpshooters in the process.”
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...WhndVE0VklZZDA Sigmar’s Blood - Page 24
Strigoi Thralls = It is rare for them to breed, but it does happen. These would be rather fresh compared to the more beastial Ghoul Kings, but still a bit weird looking.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi...g_and_Breeding
Strigheist = Ghoul Kings riding on the backs of Terrorghiest, supremely dangerous to all.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/File:Strigoi_mounted.jpg
Vojnuk = "They had served him in life as vojnuk – the armoured horsemen who wielded hunting spears to deadly effect against the enemies of Mourkain. Their crashing charges had broken the back of more than one orc horde or barbarian battle line. Now, in death, they had become wights, their bloodthirsty souls anchored to their withered husks by Kadar’s sinister arts. They had been the edge of his army’s blade in life, and in death they fulfilled much the same function, when they were not serving as guards."
Character MountsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Carrion = The giant bird of death is a creature of Chaos. A powerful master of Necromancy can draw it from the Chaos Wastes where it feeds upon the souls of the misguided

AnimatedSpoiler Alert, click show to read:The Vampire Count armies are formed on the backs of those who are long dead, or freshly dead, anywhere in between really. Necromancers join their forces and spread undeath further, creating monstrosities that their masters have not thought of making. Here are a few of those missing risen units.
Black Knights (Bretonnian) = "If the Black Knights were of Bretonnian origin during their lives, they will still fight in their renowned lance formation. Their Nightmares must have barding."

Bone Giants = The resurrected skeletons of dead Giants. Though not in the rulebook, White Dwarf issue 234 has a massive Bretonnian themed Vampire Counts army from the Games Workshop exhibition centre that has a bone giant in its forces.

Dust Goblins = Undead goblins

Elven Wights = "Elven Wights are the remains of ancient Elven heroes, dating back to the War of the Beard. Their souls are unable to find peace, consumed with the arrogance and bitterness that fuelled that ancient conflict. Like other Wights, they are usually found in full battle dress. Little remains of the body save for the skeleton and perhaps a few scraps of flesh, but this is merely a shell for the Wight’s dark soul. If an Elven Wight so chooses, it can manifest its spirit to mortal eyes, appearing to be a living Elf. In battle, they drop this disguise, revealing their true nature in order to inspire fear in their foes."
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Elven_Wight
Flayed Beastmen = "More revolting still, the tower was being pulled by the dead beastmen that had been flayed to make it. Hundreds of skinless beast-corpses were harnessed to the towers, pulling them forwards by ropes that pierced them through their chests and strung them together like grisly fetishes on a shaman's braid."

Hel Fenn Zombies = Large units of zombie empire troops trapped in the swamps. Vampires and necromancers fight over this large resource of bodies frequently.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Hel_Fenn
Kings of Draesca = Each new High King is determined to carve his mark on the world before his tenure has passed, and so the armies of the Draescan Kings go forth into the world every seven-year cycle, their numbers bolstered not only by thousands of the living dead but by the dusty cadavers of every king to have ever worn the helm. This would be a unit of those cadaverous kings.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/The_Helm_of_The_Draesca
Knockers = Knockers are undead revenants of miners killed in accidents, particularly accidents caused by carelessness or greed. They are all but mindless and utterly hostile to those who have survived where they have perished. They look as if they have been crushed under rock and then crawled back to their feet. Their bodies are badly damaged. They seem to arise spontaneously, but it is likely that Necromancers are behind it in some way. I’m guessing they’re a bit like a zombie with a mining pick.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Knocker
Ordo Draconis Wights = The most worthy of the Ordo Draconis were turned into Blood Dragon vampires when the Blood Keep was conquered, those considered unworthy were raised as Wights to fight in their armies.

Styrigen Wights = Hidden amongst their winding track and foggy vales, however, are the tombs of the ancient chiefs of the Styrigen tribes. Dug into the hillsides or built as turf-covered barrows, these date from pre-Imperial times. Locals consider the tombs cursed.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi...land#Geography
Sylvanian Levy = A unit from the Storm of Chaos army list for Sylvania. These are zombie levy who have halfberds. Probably quite useless.

Tomb Guardians = A bodyguard unit listed in the Citadel Journal magazine on Issue 13, Page 39, as such they may not be fully loreful, but I’m including them none-the-less. They’re elite skeleton warriors who use halberds in combat. As they’re a bodyguard unit, I’d assume they would be tougher to beat than the Grave Guard.

Undead Centaur = A conversion.
https://i.imgur.com/C8Nxmuj.png White Dwarf 119
Unholy Blades = When great warriors die with a vow unfulfilled or a curse upon them they sometimes return as Wights, sometimes their spirit passes directly into the weapon they used in battle. These dark blades contain the bloody thoughts of their wielders, usually it waits for someone to pick it up before corrupting them to their desires, other times they will animate themselves.

http://www.solegends.com/citc/c034carrion/index.htm
Poltergeists = More mischievous types of spirit. They generally seek to frighten the living and by making a nuisance of themselves.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Spirits
Residues = ”Residues are sometimes created when another form of Spirit or Wraith begins to fade away, the will that maintained their Undead state incapable of sustaining them any longer. Others are formed when a particularly malicious or miserable person dies who lacks any particular reason to remain in the land of the living. They appear to be vaguely humanoid clouds of dark smoke, though they are usually invisible to mortal eyes. They are little more than a bundle of negative emotions, possessing an almost instinctual desire to spread hatred and rage to others.”
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Residue
Sacrificed = ”Sacrificed are the spirits bound against their will to protect a location against all intruders. The Sacrificed attack anyone who approaches them, including whoever bound them there. For this reason they are usually found in remote locations, guarding the tombs of powerful servants of Chaos.”

Skyghoul = A wraith-like creature that rides Carrion.
http://www.solegends.com/citc/c034carrion/index.htm
Spectral Huntsmen = A unit listed in Citadel Journal Issue 15, page 15, as such they may not be 100% loreful but since the magazine was published by Games Workshop it can be taken as if they are. They are spectral cavalry armed with spears and shields. Spectral Hounds accompany them.

Spectres = The most frightening types of ghost. They are angry beings, full of malice for the living and despair at their own state.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Spirits
Spirit Hosts = They are a collection of spectres of the dead. Rituals required to bind them into organised hosts are secret and only known to a few Vampires and Necromancers. Those knowing the rituals are certain to use them, for they are ethereal creatures and all earthly weapons go through them.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Spirit_Host
Tomb Banshees = The malevolent spirits of evil sorceresses and wizardesses that have clung onto their spirits long after their death through fear of crossing the void to face whatever punishment awaits them. The Vampire Counts have no trouble binding these to their cause. Their grief-stricken wails can be lethal to mortals.

Voidghast = A wraith-like creature that rides Carrion.

Wraithrider Lord = A wraith-like creature that rides Carrion.
http://www.solegends.com/citc/c034carrion/index.htm
Wraithwisps = Powerful necromancers often return as a Wraith, apprentices often need to be dragged back into unlife. These are those apprentices, half-mad shades, ethereal figures wrapped in cloak. They hate anything living.

MonstrositiesSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Fenbeast = Fenbeasts are large sorcerous constructs assembled from material gathered from marshes and swamps where many have died in battle. They are unnatural creatures that reek of stagnant marshes and have the touch of the grave about them. The presence of a Fenbeast often indicates the presence of a necromancer or other kind of spell caster, often one with grim intentions. Fenbeasts, being all but devoid of will, are not imaginative opponents, but this can change with a skilled handler.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Fenbeast
Fleet Carrion = Carrion are huge winged beasts from the chaos wastes, called forth from their hunting grounds by the intense magic that surrounds an undead fleet. On their back sits a small wraith-like figure, which feeds off the escaping life force of the dying.
https://www.scribd.com/document/2230...del-Journal-06
Mourngul = Dreadful tales are told around huddled fires of those lost in the killing cold of a mountain winter, driven by famine and pain to hunt their own companions and former friends for their meat and the warmth of their blood. There is no salvation for these damned souls, for the horrors in which they indulge cannot save them and they become things neither dead nor alive, condemned to an eternity of empty hunger and terrible isolation.

Van Hal's Twin-headed Winged Serpent = ”"Some mounts are stranger still, such as the twin-headed winged serpant that is said to have carried Frederick Van Hal into battle against the Skaven. The chronicles of the Grand Theogonists record that at the Siege of Altdorf by Vlad von Carstein, Vampires took to the skies on zombified Wyverns and Griffons."”

Zombie Dragon = "This is a corrupted and decayed version of the mighty beasts of the sky. Its skin is torn, its flesh leprous and its wings nothing but scrawny tatters held onto exposed bone and sinew." - Zombie Dragon lacking a rider. Though not in the rulebook, White Dwarf issue 234 has a massive Bretonnian themed Vampire Counts army from the Games Workshop exhibition centre that has a riderless zombie dragon in its forces.

Undead Sea BeastsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:All of these listed would be undead versions of them. It is mentioned sometimes that the undead can summon these dead monsters from the depths of the ocean.
Behemoth = The Behemoth is an immense narwhal-like creature, with a single, huge horn jutting from its blunt snout. Unlike a whale, its mouth is lined with vicious, sword-like teeth, each over six feet in length.

Black Leviathan = The Black Leviathan is a huge, carnivorous deep-sea fish, with a cavernous mouth full of barbed fangs. It approaches its target swimming low in the water, with little of its vast bulk showing. As it gets close, it rises up from the waves, its mouth agape, and gulps its victim down whole.

Gargantuan = The gargantuan’s favourite method of attack is to approach its prey from below and wrap its sinuous coils around it. The monster then goes on to crush the life from its hapless victim, while delivering massive electric shocks to it.

http://jake.ryft.org/warhammer/mowstuff/SOBRulebook.pdf
Kraken = The Kraken is a giant squid-like creature with hundreds of tentacles that end in cruel suckers and vicious barbs. It grabs its prey with these appendages and propels them into its evilly beaked mouth. There are many tales of Kraken emptying ships of crew and leaving them ravaged and drifting with no sails or masts.

Megaladon = The Megaladon is a little known species of shark, four or five times as large as its nearest relative. In common with other sharks, it is an effecient and ruthless predator.

http://jake.ryft.org/warhammer/mowstuff/SOBRulebook.pdf
Promethean = The Promethean is a large, crab-like creature that is believed to live on the ocean floor, only coming to the surface to feed. Its tough carapace gives it protection from most attacks, while its tremendously powerful pincers can rip apart masters, sails and superstructure.

Sea Dragon = As the name suggests, it’s a close relative of the dragons of Ulthuan. Legend has it that in the sundering wars between Elves, a dark elf dragon was struck from the sky by a mightly high elf champion. The dragon fell into the sea, where the dark, cooling waters bathed his wounds and provided refuge from battle. It’s said that the sea dragons are descended from that beast.

The LivingSpoiler Alert, click show to read:It is not unknown for the living to seek out Vampires to serve them, but in truth many live under the dominion of their undead lords in the lands of Sylvania and Mousillon. Whether they want to serve them is another matter.
Arboreonecromancer = "Arboreonecromancy is a little-practiced branch of wizardry -- any mystic wizard crazed enough to attempt it normally transfers his attentions back to raising zombies and skeletons, rather than undead trees. However, legends tell of the Archmage Sycamo, 'The Daemon Carpenter of Estalia', who not only perfected a method of reanimating trees from their residual elements, but also filling them with astounding vigour."
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...WhndVE0VklZZDA
Bat Swarm = I know that there are already bats, but those are fell bats and in the tabletop they were larger and stronger than the Bat Swarms. These would likely be cheap, a bit useless but exceptionally numerous. It’s my belief that they combined the Bat Swarm and the Fell Bats from the tabletop into one unit, so I’d recommend if you were to add the Bat Swarm, change the Fell Bats to be more powerful, larger and have smaller unit size, to make the two more noticeably different.
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Bat_Swarm
Draescan Tribesmen = Men who follow their cursed High King to battle. If this unit is added it should be obvious that the Kings of Draesca unit should too, to match them together nicely. Perhaps have this unit led by an officer using the model of those Kings, should they be made.

Ghouls (Armoured) = ”Felix looked down. Ghouls padded through the jungle below, in ones and twos. Some wore primitive armour, but all carried weapons. Their worm-pale flesh was daubed in ash and war paint, and they barked and growled softly to one another as they moved.”

Master Arboreonecromancer = "Arboreonecromancy is a little-practiced branch of wizardry -- any mystic wizard crazed enough to attempt it normally transfers his attentions back to raising zombies and skeletons, rather than undead trees. However, legends tell of the Archmage Sycamo, 'The Daemon Carpenter of Estalia', who not only perfected a method of reanimating trees from their residual elements, but also filling them with astounding vigour."

Mutant Sylvanians = In addition to disease, mutation is relatively common amongst the peasant populace. The thin soil has been riddled with Warpstone since the Warpstone meterorite falls, giving Sylvania one of the highest rates of mutation within the entire Empire. The most deformed Mutants are cast out into the woods or sent to Drakenhof. Information found in the Inhabitants section.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Sylvania
Necromancer Aspirant = Mystery shrouds the study of necromancy. To learn the dark art, an aspirant must find either a Necromancer or Vampire and become his apprentice, or acquire a forbidden book rich in the secrets of undeath, such as one of the fabled Nine Books of Nagasb. It is this intrinsic mystery that drives Necromancers to become servants of the Vampire Counts, hoping to learn firsthand from the masters of undeath.
