    Default Homecoming (Battle of Kingslanding)

The ships aligned with the Golden Company crept into port unannounced. They were of Essosi make with a scant few having been "borrowed" from the Reach over half a decade ago, a rag tag fleet of pirate ships and galleys from Tyrosh. They flew an assortment of flags, the forest of eyes of Nine Eyes, the hag of Old Mother, the Bleeding Tower of Tyrosh, the Griffins of Lashare, the black dragons of Blackfyre, and the Crowned Red Eye of Tom. It had taken many moons.. but they were finally back, to claim what they'd lost so many years ago or die in the attempt. The view within the wooden hulks was not very befitting of a King's army, it was an armada of cutthroats, pirates, and human scum. They had slaves on board for both work and pleasure, and a few unsullied even for fighting - many worshiped strange gods and spoke queer tongues, but for now their goal was simple to fight and to kill. After at least a moon ing and drinking beneath the deck of his ship Tom was going to finish what he started. Row! The one eyed giant thundered at the slaves bellow as he left the safety of his cabin for the spray of the sea on the bow. Row faster, damn you! His one good eye narrowed on the city, it would be his. He wore no armor, not a shirt neither - allowing the spray of the sea to wash over his heavily scarred body. His was the flagship the pride of Tyrosh testaments to the city's queer gods inscribed all about its hull, beside it was the Pirate Queen's flagship The Old Hag, Nine Eyes was not far.

(OOC: Did you add the 2k from the Myrish forces and the 3k you got from Nine Eyes? If not, I can make a composition for those combined numbers based off what Gandy said should be their composition.)

OOC: I do believe I've got everyone in there. I've been adding to our host in the Golden Company OP every time we got more men.

OOC: I think you may have them. We left with around 15,000 and we now have 23,000.

Edit: lets let this sit here for the rest of the day though. Give people time to catch up; we have the Small Council meeting going on currently.

Oh you forgot Moryn Tyrell will be with you guys as well as Derrick. They were ordered to the harbor.

Lashare looks down at the map of King's Landing he had purchased from a Tyroshi merchant before the fleet had left the city, and has spent a decent portion of the trip planning for the landing with his officers one last time, various items acting as figurines to identify forces with scattered about and some writing on the map as well, before heading out of his cabin on one of the galleys and made his way onto the deck, and begins shouting orders. "Crossbowmen, take up positions on the bow sections of the ship! Infantry, begin forming ranks! Today we avenge our defeat outside those walls!"

Serra watches as the city appears on the horizon from a golden throne, in the bridge of a massive warship, 'The Royal Vengeance'. The hull red as blood and the sails black as night; the rows painted in stripes of red and black. The prow was decorated with an inmense three-headed dragon. A drum marked the rythm for the rowers and the ship was manned by many fearsome soldiers, clad in fluted black armor and crossbowmen carrying pavise. Over Serra's head fluttered the banner of her house.
Her delicate hand grabs firmly the pommel of Blackfyre and a circlet rested on her temples. A myriad servants and slaves were ready to satisfy every whim of their lady. Serra wore a black gown and a ceremonial chestplate, heavily engraved with fluted designs and coiling dragons.

    "Ready for battle"

She said in low voice. Her commanders, some aristocratic Lyseni, nodded and took positions around the ship, yelling orders. Spears were raised and crossbows prepared. The men roared as they rowed faster, heading towards the city. A Lyseni even mounted his horse, prepared for landing.

    Serra smiled.

OOC: Just to clarify. The Lyseni didn't send any men, unless the mods forgot to communicate that to me. All the men are from Myr, the Golden Company, Nine Eyes, Lashare, Astapor, and Tyrosh. I'm not sure if they sent ships, but I know Old Mother and Tyrosh did.

White Rat, the Captain of the Unsullied issued orders. They were silently and immediately obeyed. The elite phalanx infantry prepared to storm the gates, kill any guards that stood in their way, use their spears to reach up and pick defenders off the walls. If any should even present themselves.

    ---------

Moryn stood disguised in dark robes near the Mud Gate. He gave a smile. He felt the pommel of his sword beneath the robes, ready to cast them aside and join the fighting immediately.

OOC: I am about to head to work, so hopefully this doesn't get too far ahead for me to join in as Maegor.

PM me orders. Divided into gate and walls please. Attackers tell me what siege equipment you're building as well, so I know when the battle actually starts

What's the nature of the harbor? Since they don't have a defensive fleet, are we able to sail into it?

Still shouldn't be enough time to raise Kingslandings entire levy (army nor fleet).

If there are no professional ships I'd say the warning allows the city to bar the gates and ready for a siege.

But then that's the norm even without that roll. Trot, what was that roll meant to allow for?

Characters that want to leave have a chance now to leave the city before the siege, and the Capital can be prepared.
