Default Tagmata spam to demigryph spam...

Title says it all folks... There seems to be a reoccurring trend with Ca to have the same basic placeholders for a type of unit that was introduced in the first total war. I can name some more... Miners with blast charges... that's a full 80 grenades. In Attila there was a similar unit but the size was small but had plenty of ammo. This unit was op imo and miners are even more op. Imo the game is severely imbalanced. 95% of battles basically force you to target the general until one of you (presumably not grimgor) dies.

On another note I feel that warhammer was another rushed unfinished game that was stripped of many planned features... I've noticed some abilities don't seem do what they say they do... Just off the top of my head goblin spears say they have poor leadership , meanwhile they have higher leadership then all of the more expensive goblin infantry... How does this make any sense. I've also heard shields literally do nothing against missiles now? They only count towards melee defense. Players can clearly see right away is a lack of units. Even considering the lore of warhammer itself. The units all fall into the same categories as previous games... melee shooter cavalry... moreover I'm not seeing the sword>spear>cav>sword rock, paper, scissors type style...

Instead what we have is extremely op cavalry units across the board. Heck even chariots in their small unit numbers do incredible damage to infantry units whether spear, halberd, or axe. Giant units in general need more hp... as far as I can tell people are very quick to spam missile and magic damage on your giants and do so with ease to to their grand sizes... meanwhile I've found the smaller dwarven generals along with grimgor are extremely op and I think it has a lot to do with unit scale. The less space the unit occupies the less damage it will take over all.

I have to say though this is the best release I've seen from CA... if that's saying anything, though.

Dude, balance is always a thing with the new games, it's not been patched once yet. There's only so many builds to try with beta testers. Just as Rome and Attila, they'll turn the MP into a fairly well rounded game within a few patches.

Though I sort of agree about demigryphs, but I blame GW for that abomination of a unit, not CA.
