They are lead to a small tent where Lord Caron was studying some maps surrounded by a small retinue of minor lords.

Mathis turns to a guard and speaks softly, a short time latter they bring a chest laddered with gold the rest of the first years payment.

"For now we wait." He says studying the maps Lord Tarly still had not arrived he would need to send men down to Nightsong if they did not arrive soon.

Harbert Baratheon summons his commanders to his tent, in which he holds a letter.

"The King is in Dorne, my lords. Along with his mother, who sent a letter asking for our support."
He said, posing it as a question to those that had arrived.

Mathis had never been a particularly pious man, but the letter from the High Septon worried him. "Would the Faith support him?" He asks the room at large, "I would not want to face a second war of the faith the last one nearly ended the seven Kingdoms and that was with Dragons."

"Precisely." Harbert stated, with a grimace. "But what other choice do we have? He is the heir, no matter how terrible of a King his father was." Harber was not afraid of saying it, for all knew it. Aerys had done more to set the realm at odds than any king since Aegon the Unworthy, perhaps even more-so, for they had not seen the full aftermath of the strife Aerys had sowed.

"There are others with a claim, and ones that would not plunge the realm into a civil war. Aerys made few freinds I doub many would raise their banners to see his son stays on the throne. It would not be the first time chosen heir was passed by for another." Mathis says studying the other men in the tent.

"Such as whom, Lord Caron?" Harbert inquired, intrigued. He was tired of these political games, and he wanted peace - but sometimes that could only be earned by shedding a little blood.

"My nephew does, you are right." He affirms, before looking towards Tarth thoughtfully. With the faith's denouncement of the Dragons, it seemed that any potential heir would have to lie outside their immediate kin.
"I shall not force you to proclaim for anyone, my lords. I know some among you have drawn closer to the Seven after the burning of the Sept. If you wish Rhaegar king, then so be it. If you wish Lord Steffon king, then so be it." He raised his voice, directing the question at all, perhaps hoping for an answer.

"I have no love for the spawn of Aerys. It is widely known"

Said Tarth, who had remained silent, his arms crossed over the wide chest.

"And we should uproot the tree, prune the fruit. It is time we have a king worth our loyalty. My uncle, good Aegon, was a good king. My cousin, Duncan, would have been a good king with his peasant wife. I knew they realm could pay in corpses, but I don't mourn the day I witnessed as they were married under a weirwood. They would have brought a new age of peace..."

He leaned forward, resting his weird on the tabble.

"The Faith has dennounced the dragons. They are no fit to rule in the Light of the Seven, anymore. We need a true King, to bring peace to this realm and not madness. A ruler, not a tyrant"

    Boremund unsheathed his sword.

"This sword of mine will only shed blood for one man. My kin, my liege, my son: Steffon Baratheon"

The sword is back on the scabbard. And he raises his hands, clad in gauntlets.

"With this hands I will place a cro
    wn on his head"

    He grabs the sword's pommel.

"With this sword I shall carve the path leading to his throne if necessary. Rhaegar is no king of mine, Baratheon however is the only King I will bend my knee to"

Harbert remained silent, quite stunned by what had transpired. What had just been spoken was tantamount to treason, but the Baratheon could not help but agree with the words. Aerys had been a tyrant, and his son was a mere infant, a boy of no more than ten. Steffon had a claim, but so did a dozen others, Tarth included. But the High Septon had denounced most, if not all. He looked to the others, seeing if he could measure their response.

"Aye. I stand with Lord Tarth." The elderly knight finally said, his wrinkled gaze turning to the other vassals who stood assembled before him. Steffon's own approval was not guaranteed, but if the Stormlands hailed him as King, he could hardly afford to refuse...

[OOC: We can just go ahead and start this. Timestamp: Now-ish]

As told to the Storm's End garrison by a raven weeks ago, a sizable flotilla of dromonds and Dornish sailing vessels sail up through Shipbreaker Bay, with a substantial number of warships among them. Martell flags lead the armada. Laying anchor some twenty miles or so away from Storm's End (Storm's End wouldn't just let them sail right up to it after all), one ship continues alone, bearing a secondary flag of a seven-headed star. It asks to dock at the harbor of Storm's End.

They are given permission to dock at the harbour, and Harbert Baratheon requests a meeting with whoever is leading the Dornish forces.
