    Hoi there!

It's shameful really how seldom I have actually visited this place as of late. I wish to have that changed. Also, I would not mind finding myself able to participate the competitions again, let's see what the future holds.

Congratulations to Yoboii17, Noif and Roman Republic - all great shots, and thanks for the kind comments. A couple of the other pictures had me browsing through Steam checking out Naval and flight sim games during the week.

As a comment re: the STW2 screenie - how good are the physics in that title, the way the reflected light moves on the dynamic figures and maintains correct orientation, and the way the sprites 3D skins never bleed into themselves as they move. Also, the detail of the samurai's neck muscles as he twists away is sublime. CA really raised the quality bar with this title and then immediately dropped the ball (I can't help wondering if their art team or key artist left for greener fields before the next title development - the thought of a Medieval 3 skinned to that quality makes me drool). The uniforms of the Republicans in FOTS were creaseless, poorly fitting clown suits that shone like plastic when bloodied. Nothing needs to be said about the skinning in Rome 2 - better than FOTS but a definite step back. When I got Attila I searched out re-skin mods for the faction I was playing immediately after I fought the first battle. Kudos to Avetis and his Sassanid reskin (the second one I tried) - he gets at least some of the credit for my only POTW win so far.

Get Warthunder and World of warships/tanks (Free to play) and FRAPS for screenshots taking.
