lots of Knights both mounted and on foot. That is primarily where there strength is (e.g constable of jerusalem) + light cavalry to counter islamic factions horse archers. Artillary is only realy usefull in my experience in taking settlements quickly without protracted sieges needed to weaken the garrison. I've always found another unit of cavalry is of more use than say a catapult that misses half the time. Others will disagree but that is my humble opinion.
The use of STEAM-ONLY by CA is ethically wrong because:
    1. It does not need to be forced. It could be optional as other games have proven.
    2. It discrminates between internet users and non-users or those who simply do not want it.
    3. The `advantages` are only advantages in a very small and superficial manner. they do not counter the disadvantages.
    4. It suits the company way more than the user. We are simply told it`s better for us

Kurdish Javelinmen tucked behind your spearmen, hold there fire, until Islamic Generals join battle, then hit them hard with javelins

Kurdish Javelins are boss. They are so good at thinning ranks if the enemy decide to just charge at you head on.
