Crash when saving and at turn end (probably autosave)

It doesnt happen everytime but it does quite often. I just installed the new version and the error appears quite often either when saving manually or at the end of Elutheroi turn (probably when its trying to autosave).

Sometimes the game doesnt even close after the error. The error message appears but instead of closing everything ocne you click accept the game remains open where it was although not working obviously.

Never ever use autosave, it's causing all sorts of issues in Med 2.

Turn off autosave. Seriously, it causes all sorts of savegame-corrupting problems.

Oh really? Didnt knew it. Just had it because of ir been the default. Had been using it since the start but in olderr versions although I had some crashes of this type those were far off between. Will turn off autosave then and tell you if it keeps happening when I manually save.

PS: This feels stupid but Im not able to find were to disable autosaves. Doesnt seem to appear on the options. Do I have to edit some file?

auto_save = 0

Unfortunatelly I keep getting crashes during AI turn. Also on manual saves from time to time. This is specially painful as it courrupts the save making it crash on laoding afterwards and basically losing it.

Are you using Steam? I am and found that even though the eb2.cfg was edited to (auto_save = 0), the same thing was needed for the MTW2 cfg (medieval2.preference.cfg). Once I made that edit, my auto saves actually stopped and my empire rolled

No I dont use steam. I have succesfully removed auto save. The error was still happening although since 2.2a I havent had crash whie saving (although not much testing yet) but I still had crash during IA turn sometimes
