grudgebearers throne makes him fight like an idiot

i was doing a battle grudgebearer vs ironhide and it was down to jsut a few units i charged with grudge at iron hide who had 50 hp i still had 800 easy kill right? WRONG i charge h im and lost 400 hp then he stood there getting wack then died... seriously what the hell.. i lost the battle because the few units who remain routed -.-

Thorgrim is a leader and wrecker of mass units, not a duelist. He's bad against other lords, but can smack around massed infantry like crazy. Grimgor is an all-round wrecking ball built around combat much more than leadership.

ironhide is not a duelest and had 50 HP he should of died

grudgebearer looks as dumb as he fights

No, he's not a duelist - duelists are anti-character specialists that are meh against massed units. Grimgor is de facto anti-everything. He wrecks other lords and units equally well. Your example? Chances are Thorgrim plain missed twice (because he's got middling melee attack for a lord while Grimgor has good melee defence) while Grimgor hit two or three times.

Grimgor has nearly 800 weapon strength when upgraded, at least on Radious mod.

500 of it being AP damage..

seems legit. in the main game as well, I believe his combo of normal and AP damage is ~500 to start, and you can spec him for more. I think he also has a splash between 5 and 7 so he is usually hitting a lot of guys with that damage, similar to ungrim. noone beats thorgrim's splash though.

I got his weapon strength that high with no mods. He's a beast.

Not to mention there is also a possibility that his big AOE attacks flat out didn't clip through ironside, or he might have hit ironside, but also hit dozens of other guys as well, and RNG decided to have him hit those guys instead of grimgor. There is a negative to him being that big though, if you are not microing him (or sometimes when you are) his size means a lot of guys can target him, and that may lead to a version of stun lock where he is circling trying to target the last guy to hit him. I have been thinking about how to dial that down. it is especially bad for guys like Ungrim and Grimgor.

You think watching him miss grimgor is upsetting? watch the animation for Kholek. He miss 3 out of every 4 attacks on a solitary model simply because his hammer lands behind that dude.

Uh I've used him in two campaign plays through and he's a beast on that throne if you build him correctly.

YEAP! sheild bearers are awesome, I never understand why they didn't do that to be honest.

But yeah the throne was weird from day one it was released at table top.

I had a battle yesterday as Orc against Thorgim and he killed over 800 units and I lost.

He was the only dwarf unit on the map, he stuck around beating the crap out of my orc boyz and goblin spearmen, and my ally's reinforcements.

Playing him now i think he is far more better than empire's Dr Doom lol.

His skill are awesome more leadership buff could make a dwarf hold there ground. Also w/ tunnel skill ability of dwarf could easily intercept an army and destroy them. I think for skill list just make him a tank then give him more leadership buff then tunnel skill ability and replenish skill.

He is not suited to kill a general but use an agent w/ couple cheap unit w/ range unit.
