How about a restart battle option for campaigns?

Title says it all. This was a feature in some of the past total wars from what I recall. This would save me so much loading time considering I don't have an SSD!

I do not remember if there was ever restart option in any TW game released. Just quicksave before the battle.

if the game lets you quicksave might as well save us the annoyance and also add a restart option

But then u also need an additional option to save it in the case u want to fight the battle another day.

Hmmm, maybe they could automatically create a 'battle' quick save and then add a restart option. That would combine both options for a small time cost for the automatic pre-battle save.

I wonder whether such things can be modded in TW-WH. In XCOM2, somebody created a 'Continue' mod which simply loaded the last save game.

When u save the replay of a campaign battle, you should be able to fight it again through the battle replays selection I think.

haha, I kind of wish I saved the one from the fight I had last night between Ungrim and half a stack of slayers and 3 stacks of tier 1 and 2 green skin trash. there were bodies everywhere.

I don't remember a restart option, at least notr after RTW. Haven't played RTW since a while though.... What RTW didn't have is the quick save option before battle and that's a damn good option I must say.

Seriously, what a bunch of s have come to this forum since warhammer universe released.
You have the quick save option, that stays on your hdd untill you overwrite it with another quicksave.
You have autosave before the end turn sequence begins.

Maybe think before you send your troops.
Another way to cheat the game:
Quick save and than save the battle difficulty to easy istead of normal/hard/very hard.
Easy win.
If you still cant win this game on easy mode, than you better go search another game.

AND

If you had some epic battle, won it. nice, than you save the replay.
Because you saved the replay, you can review the replay, BUT you now can also replay that specific battle. And enjoy your strategic genius on the battlefield again. (but offcourse, you can only play that specific battle, not the campaign on that way).

next time, check wiki/ingame search/youtube channels.

or maybe, maaayybe, you calm downb and stop pissing people off because they ask for a feature that you wouldnt even have to use.

i would like it very much. sometimes, there is this battle that u just cant lose, even if u have to play it 10 times over again, so this would be reaally a big save of time.

I don't think so, people would be nicer... that's the problem with the internet. No risk of having somebody puts his fist on your nose makes most people totally uncivilised. This makes us look a bit more like animals...

It's weird I have the feeling that even if moderation rules got stronger than ever TWC gets a more ferocious place as time pass by. Usually I unconsciously put my psychic Lorica Segmentata when I come around.

Yeah only way is the quick save before the battle. Although I wish in higher difficulty levels they remove the quick save to make things really intense. Not being able to save the game before a battle would make that battle much more important.
