Deathclaw cuts Karl Franz stats back to default (melee attack and etc). Could u plz explain why this happens?
Why do we need Barded Warhorse?

Maybe for some reason of your own you don't want to give him Deathclaw and you have the choice to give him a barded warhorse instead, Deathclaw probably cuts his stats a little because it has it's own separate AoE attacks on top of Karl Franz but I'm not sure about that, or it's simply a bug![]()
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
Barded war horse is great for some units. I do not give it to my melee specialists as suddenly the spears/halberds can counter them.
However, I give the war horses to my wizards so they can quickly ride up, cast a spell and then run away.
Also, deathclaw is still better than regular Karl because of the extra AOE attacks, and the extra damage that deathclaw does in general and and rear charges are much more powerful.

Yeah, both Karl and Deathclaw make attacks. Not sure if the melee line affects Deathclaw's attacks, but Karl's still putting Ghal Maraz to use.
Since they were mentioned before - I'd be tempted to put a wizard on a pegasus; if only so that a few cheap magic missiles can hit from a good angle (tried to use a Light Wizard's missile spell to soften up an enemy warboss once and had to put him further ahead of my troops than I was comfortable with so that he had a clear line of fire on him).
That's a good idea. Pegasi are a godsend for wizards. Both because it really helps geiving them a good angle for spells like Fireball or Burning Gaze and because of the mobility it affords them in general.
