VC in Multiplayer

I want to play VC in Multiplayer but my friend uses Chaos. Any tips? I know one problem of mine is not using Manfred properly and not taking advantage of his skills. Also does not help a Giant always finds him despite his dragon mount. Any tips please?

Use magic to kill their elite units and leaders. Fate of bjunna Soul Leech. They can counter with death magic sorcerer of their own though. They would have to be good though. You must also get Armour piercing units as Chaos has a ton of high Armour units. Anti Monster units as well. Vargheist and Fell bats do not do very well because of the high armour of chaos midtier and elite units. They do well against the lower tier units though. I might have missed a few things but I think I covered most of the basic points.

VC units are really weak against chaos. I suggest use grave guard w/ great swords as meat shield, then a lot of crypt of horrors and ghouls, cavalry mix it w/ hexwraith, fellbats against annoying missile unit and terrogheist. You can add Varghulf if you got extra credit to kill the general. For agents use vampire and banshee.

I think the best counter w/ chaos will be empire. Empire have the best cavalry in the game but lacks of flying unit.
