Formations

I've noticed as Romans that sometimes when you enter the battle your army is set up with virtually square maniples (which seems more historical) and sometimes with quite long thin extended ones...is there a reason for this? It'd be good to fix this if we can.

Unfortunately, no. The reason it changes depends on the terrain and the composition of units in the army. When I was using Darth's Formations it was actually much worse (always spread out in a long line.) Also, it should be understood that the formations files will react differently with different unit settings (normal, large, huge)....so some of this is beyond anyone's control. I chose the one I thought worked best with this mod on 'Large' settings..which is all I can play.
