    Default Beyond the Wall

The men of the Forgotten Company marched with purpose ever northward searching for anything of interest in this hostile territory beyond the giant wall of the Westerosi. Their new paymaster, Lord Karstark, had given Lazar permission to lead his mercenaries beyond the wall first as a scouting force ahead of the main force of the Northern Expedition. Speaking with several of the rangers and locals around Castle Black had revealed to the Tyroshi sellsword that Whitetree was the closest settlement of the barbarian Wildlings known to the folk of Westeros. Lazar has decided to make this his first destination and marches forward with his men in the hopes of finding some trace of the locals so that they can be caught by the mercenaries. Lazar hears one of his fellow sellswords complaining of the cold despite being clad in warm heavy clothing and gives him a quick smack on his helm with the flat of his sword before bellowing, "Quit the complaining Ben before I use the sharp edge against that neck of yours! There are far worse things than a little cold and if you don't believe me maybe you will after taking a position with the watchmen for a night! Now get to marching before I change my mind about using the other side of my sword!" Lazar gives the man a push and marches at a quicker pace alongside his men. Lazar leads by example rather than simply giving out orders to the soldiers of the company. He glanced away from the primitive path and into the woods before continuing to lead the men of the company towards Whitetree where hopefully battle and plunder awaited them.

    Rolled 12, 7, 11, 18.

A defence is mustered, they're aware it is Essosi Sellswords, 11% of your men die (99 men) and you gain 18% of the province loot or 3,600 Dragons.

Lazar glances warily back and forth seeing flurried movements and hearing the snapping of twigs and branches. He quickly shouts to his men and swords are readied as the Wildlings attack. Lazar buries his sword in the chest of one of the unarmored barbarians before slicing another the spear of another into two pieces. However, just as quickly as they had come they left, leaving behind the bodies of their fallen. This pattern was repeated as Lazar and his men burned and looted their way through the lands of Whitetree gathering everything of value that could possibly be found. A number of men were lost in these repeated attacks despite the rather light armor and weapons of the enemy, but in return the lands of the Wildlings had been stripped and burned of anything that qualified as wealth. Lazar looked over the snow covered landscape now covered in soot and smoke and pondered his next move.

With the loot collected and the land burning Lazar feels he has accomplished his mission. He returns to the Northern camp south of the Wall with both loot and prisoners.
