Political Background

With the Lord Paramountship of the Honeywine being declared by King Aerys II. himself, House Hightower decided that matters within the capital would be in need of political emissaries, preferably from their own House, as times are unsafe and the influence of House Hightower might matter in several affairs or decisions regarding the Reach. With Lady Myrcella, Lord Rolland does not solely send a beautiful woman from his family towards the court, but as well a reasonable and cunning person, who is aware of her political role.
