    Default Boar Chariots and Dwarfs

Man those things plough through everything. I've not had problems in my Dwarf campaign until the orcs started fielding Boar Chariots. They can run down 5 ranks of dwarf warriors and all the quarrelers hiding behind them. I'm in trouble now.
    What's the recipe? Slayers?

I cannot speak for the dwarves vs. greenskins. But playing as the Chaos against other Chaos factions who field Chariots...I just sort of bog them down. I see one and create a two line defense, they charge through the first line and the second charges in and sort of swamps them. Also, they get stuck on everything. So, in theory you could drop some siege equipment and let them get hooked on it lol.

They are very annoying though regardless. Factions with cavalry can get them stuck as well, they cannot move through thick cavalry groups. Are there any dwarven units that have a thicker size like that?

I'm not sure about thicker, I've not yet unlocked hammerers and ironbreakers. But dwarf warriors clearly seem to not do the job. The orcs ram those things right into my front line and follow it immediately with trolls and big 'uns. Half of my force is lying on the ground and are getting pounded by heavy infantry right away. Nasty stuff.

When playing against them in my dwarf campaign the Orcs didn't really use them, but the Norsca/Chaos factions sure as hell did. They seem to knock a lot of people over, but not kill many and they also seem to like to try and flank a lot. In the end I just sort of left them to it and tried to get quarrelers to wear them down whilst they rampaged around my back lines. They seemed very hard to kill though.

They have high cost and low health and armor so they will die fast if they charge more than 1 unit.

Not true. They don't die fast at all, and they've got tons of health and armor piercing damage. They charge 3 units no problem and end up with the most kills on orc side.

Anyway, slayers do seem to kinda deal with them, thanks to their loose spacing formation. Heroes also help.
