Lannisters
We need someone to take them because Jokern has quit on us mid-game.
I'd be willing, but someone would have to take the Tyrell kid off me and people would need to be happy with me keeping the Leffords, because I won't be dropping them. The Tyrells are going to be easier to play because there's only the kid, and he's a ward/prisoner in Nightsong for the next 6 years or so.
Though naturally it would be better if someone with no one in the Westerlands took them.

Re: Lannisters
I could take over the Lannisters.
There's however a single issue, Tarth's heir is married to Genna Lannister, Tytos' daughter. To solve this we could retcon the marriage and swap her for someone else, be from the Westerlands of beyond. Posibly a Westerlander lady available or another women from a great house available, maybe an Arryn as I think LD has several.

Re: Lannisters
Lady Rowena I have so far on Arryn side, while there exist more women on Hightower side.
Whatever - I'll let you choose how you want to handle stuff.

Re: Lannisters
I talked with LD, Rowena Arryn will be married with Selwyn, her age (she's like 10 years his senior) is compensated by the political weight of such a match and creates and interesting dynamic in the marriage, with an older woman likely turning infertile and less beautiful sooner than expected, like Henry VIII's first wife, Catherine of Aragon. So, with that retconned I can openly lay claim to Lannisters and asume the LPcy.

Re: Lannisters
I'd be fine with that. Oz, do you still want to take them? I could always just roll or something if there's several claims.

Re: Lannisters
On your own initiative, though. There was only like 3 hours between you and Lord William, you signed them up without waiting to see if anyone else even wanted them.
So I assume yes, you do still want them as well?

Re: Lannisters
You weren't available back then, sadly. I discussed the retconning of Genna's marriage with LD and we agreed on switching her with Lady Rowena Arryn, so the only issue was gone. I want them and I already did everything needed to have them up and kicking. You wouldn't like to waste that, right?

Re: Lannisters
I want a fair way to reach a decision, not a "whoever signs them up fastest" approach.

I'd say to roll it to be fair, LW was waiting to join in on this game for some time. But that's just me.

Re: Lannisters
Oz already has characters, LW is only interested in the Lannisters (that I can see). Is a simple roll really fair? I wanted to speak to both of them and try to find a compromise first...

Aren't there conflicts of interest with having two major members of the small council?

Re: Lannisters
I have two members on the Small Council, Perry. Lord Commander Aenarys and Master of Ships Qoherys.
Oz just needs to make sure his two chars can't conveniently support each other, which won't be a problem as Oz already knows that.
I spoke with Poach about this and its been worked out.

Re: Lannisters
If it comes down to Oz keeping them he understands that his reasons for having both characters back the same thing will be subject to much closer scrutiny than if it were two different players but yes, there is. I wanted to speak to both of them because when we do claims at the start of the game rolling is done as a last resort. Unfortunately, the gun's been very much jumped in this instance...
