"Fatal Graphics Error" to "Unspecified Error" when loading battle
I have been playing for several days now after a fresh install, and I have ensured my screen/game resolutions match.
Now, I was starting to get to get a "Fatal graphics error" crash when loading a siege. And it seemed to open a can of worms from there. I turned off v-sync and lowered other settings to have it give me an "unspecified error" a couple times when simply loading the campaign! Now, after deleting the medieval II preferences file, and loading the game back up, I lowered most settings to a seemingly perfect level... (despite the fact that my computer is rather high-end and should run M2TW on full settings. Has before with no problems....) Now, when I try to load that battle, it simply says I have encountered an unspecified error and half-ass exits the game, leaving the black box on half my screen, forcing me to ctrl-alt-delete the sonofa.....
And for what it's worth it did the same thing once in a battle where I was being sieged, but I restarted the game, and loaded the auto save (luckily they still decided to attack) then it actually loaded it up and let me play all the way through it, mind you, the were over 2000 units in said battle.
Any help?
