Lord Walder and Edwyn Frey arrived with the me they had brought. Walder was growing increasingly annoyed with the sheer number of times he has been forced to mobilize his lands for war as of late. Sure he has received 30,000 dragons from the Vale in recompense, but that barely covered the costs of the last war. Edywn, on the other hand, was always ready for a fight and a chance to prove his worth. It was easier for him to be cheerful when he did not bear the burden of lordly responsbility yet. He didn't have to pay for these wars.
"Are we to save the King again, Warrick?" Walder asked sitting astride his massive war horse.

Yes Lord Walder, but enough is enough. My bannermen, save for Lord Harrowway, have all fought hard and resisted the Kings enemies gallantly. Our people die, our crops suffer. Duty and honor come together but to whom then, am I doing my duty and hurting in the process. You and I will speak with the King after this war is over. Cautiously, but if we must bleed then things must change.
On the battlefield was ser Jorah Mortimer, who lead the forces of Darry, together with lady Darry.
"Aerys would have to explain why it only took a year for the entire south to call to arms once more. The relations with the Reach must have been poorly handled, not harsh enough to weaken them and not lenient enough to not provoke another war." She said, annoyed that all the horses, knights, men-at-arms and others had to be paid for now, a complete waste of money.
"Have the King issued any commands for us?"
"Aye, I agree with Lady Darry." Lord Frey chimed in. "We arent responsible for wiping the King's ass every time he takes ain the southern realms. His response to everything can't be war."
Aye. I think we Riverlanders have been taken for granted, wouldn't we all agree? House Frey alone has aided in two realm conflicts. Aiding in the resolution of the Vale issues was pivotal for peace, or so I thought. But this is madness. Our people get led to slaughter for his shortcomings at diplomacy. It ends after this. Myles will stay in Kings Landing once all is done. In the meantime, the Reach rises and while we have no orders, we have oaths to protect the throne. And as Oaths go, I oath to you all, we do not get into any more bloodshed needlessly.
"It will take something more than a rumble from the Reach to get me out of bed again." Walder replied. "Besides, there may be a new Lord at the Twins before long." The old Frey was aging, and quickly. He was no longer cut out for this sort of camp lifestyle.
