Now it is clear what is the reason. Soldiers of Bactria besieged my city, but after the creation of siege weapons, the attack could not have happened because of the lack of infantry. They had only cavalry. The problem was solved by a counterattack. Excuse for troubling.

Hey, your preaching to the choir here bud. I ,for better or worse, do not see the world in 1's and 0's, so it won't be me "cracking the code". Maybe though someday someone with Neo level abilities will bestow upon us the highly coveted and illegal cracked .exe but until the we are destined to live a boring law abiding existence with a puny 500 unit limit for our real time battles on RTW. Although just so you know R2TW and Attila both allow you to have many many more units and much bigger battles, only minus the nostalgia.

Hey friend, I've got a more or less same problem with the last guy.
I had copied EB folder to the Alexander folder, and made the shortcut with the things I was instructed and such.
Then I downloaded 1.21c Alex version and unpacked it in the folder.

It starts and all, but the problem is whenever I try to start a combat(whether it's in campaign or custom battle), it crashes after the loading bar is full.
It's a shame, I know you guys made a lot of good adjustments for the game, so I would really like to play it with the patch...
