Here is Brotherhood battle 885 ,about 17 years ago stevelongshanks and myself introduced the 31k game to RTW ,in those days most players played with Rome so the 31k rules were very "Rome Friendly" ,as we know Parthia and Scythia infantry are very poor no matter what upgrades we put on them ,there real strength is there cavalry ,so after 17 years we have added some new rules to the 31k game ,we have given 10 cavalry max for Parthia and Scythia ,and 6 foot archers max to stop our battles turning into a archer fest ,and this battle really turned into a "Epic" and "close" battle ,we feel these new reuls have added an exciting new dymanic to our battles ,please leave a comment as it will be interesting to see what all of you think of this battle AND the new rules too .

AFTER SEVENTEEN YEARS OF "ROME FRIENDLY" 31K RULES ,WE BRING A CHANGE OF RULES TO ENCOURAGE 2 MORE FACTIONS INTO OUR 31K BATTLES.

About 17 years ago the 31k rules were set and were very "Rome Friendly" ,these rules included 6 cavalry max ,this almost stopped two Factions Parthia and Scythia as there infantry is very poor no matter how many upgrades we put on them ,there real strength are there cavalry , so last weekend we experimented with giving Parthia and Scythia 10 cavalry max and bringing 6 foot archer max across the 31k game ,and these experiments worked well ,here is a video explaining the new rules.......

Here is Brotherhood battle 887 ,this is a tough and immersive battle fough on quite a popular 31k multiplayer battle map ,this map has steep sides and the top of the map is full of undulating ground ,so to get an advantage to either team is difficult , saying that of course both teams will be trying to get to the top ,during this battle you will see some interesting army builds including an "EIGHTEEN" Spartan unit army ,with just gold attack upgrades on them ,i always think you need gold sheild Gold attack to get the most out of Spartans ? ,we hope you enjoy this battle ,please leave a comment or thumbs up if you enjoyed this battle ,AND what do you think of "Friendly Island" as a map ?.

Just to say Brotherhood member MARS is organising a summer 2v2 tournament on Rome Total War ,this will be a Rome V Rome tournament ,each player will play for 31k , no archers ,horse missile troops or artillery are the only rules ,as you might know Rome Total War is 20 years old this year ,so this tournament is to freshen up and invigarate Rome Total war ,we are hoping ex players that remember what a great game RTW is will join up ,we hope campaign players will join up and we hope any new players and current players will sign up too ,if you are interested please contact Brotherhood member MARS on steam ,he is hoping for a lot of players to join in and maybe getting players back onto RTW Multiplayer .

Here is Brotherhood battle 891 ,a normal battle that turned into a bit of an Epic close battle ,there are some interesting army builds to see at the beginning of the battle ,during this battle you will see a very unusual Germanic army "without" any Berserkers in it ,as Berserkers are arguably the most powerful units in the game ,this may well be controversial ,and will the Germanic general regret this army build ? ,i guess we will have to see ,ALSO you will see "Sneaky Skema" doing a "bait tactic" but will this tactic work ? ,during this battle you will see some good tactical moves ,and some great team work too ,when you see the battle results at the end of the battle you might be surprised at what you see ,we hope you enjoy this battle ,please leave a comment or thumbs up if you enjoyed this battle.

Here is Brotherhood battle 892 ,this is a rare modern Rome Versus Rome battle ,during this battle we look at an old school infantry battle formation that has a lot of morale baked into it ,when you see this infantry formation attacked by powerful infantry and cavalry do you think just a Gold attack and Gold defence infantry battle formation would hold or rout ? ,BUT can a morale based infantry formation hold against powerful and prolonged enemy attacks ? , i guess we will have to see ,ALSO during this battle you will see some "Massive" cavalry attacks , great team work and some very aggressive tactics too ,but the main thing here is to see how important morale is on the 31k battlefield ,this battle was fought on one of our new RTW multiplayer battle maps ,we hope you enjoy this unusual and rare battle ,please leave a comment or thumbs up if you enjoyed this rare battle.

Here is Brotherhood battle 896 ,this is an immersive and intense battle fought on a flat custom map ,during this battle you will see a 15 Spartan Unit army and you will see 10 Parthian cavalry too ,you will see that 15 Spartan army make big in roads into my Roman battle formation ,at one stage in this battle you will this battle turns into a 3v4 !! ,also you will see a MASSIVE cavalry and infantry mini battle that could decide the battles out come ,there are some really good tactical moves in this battle both from cavalry and infantry ,this is one of the best battle i have been in for a while ,we hope you enjoy this battle please leave a comment or thumbs up if you enjoyed this battle ,its always nice to ready your thoughts on our battles.

Here is Brotherhood battle 897 ,this is an immersive imformative and interesting battle ,for nearly 20 years a lot of RTW players have mostly always played on the flat featurless grassy land map ,lol after fighting battles on this map for so long i am sure some players are getting bored of that same map ,so recently i down loaded a "map pack" with loads of RTW multiplayer battle maps ,a lot of these maps including some flat maps are interesting and some challenging maps too ,BUT playing on these new different maps might mean we have to look at our army builds ,tactics and strategies ,and "Battlefield awareness" of the ground ,especially when we fight on "undulating" ground maps ,we hope you enjoy this informative and interesting battle ,please leave a comment or thumbs up if you enjoyed this unusual battle,

Here is Brotherhood battle 899 ,this is a tough and intense battle ,and a VERY close 4v4 large battle ,as you might know recently we have changed the 31k rules to allow Parthia and Scythia to bring 10 cavalry ,for the last 17 years we have had a 6 cavalry max for all factions ,very Rome friendly rules ,since we have changed the rules we have seen Scythia and Parthia being used a lot more in our 31k battles than we had seen in 17 years !! ,ALSO can you answer the two tactical attack questions ? ,we hope you enjoy this battle ,please leave a comment or thumbs up if you enjoyed this battle.
