Are we to consider the mod dead?

My pc was disabled for two weeks, I've just repaired it, bring back all my old files and so on, and I gained a little inspiration for continuing work on my mod Bringing to life all my ambitious plans and visions would take ages (literally ) so I will propably release some alpha version if I will only find enough time to finish it. I had quite a long break from this job, so firstly I have to check what's pretty much ok, what key elements are missing and what's completelly messed up, which is propably the most of it After first brief look I see that there are missing units cards for some nice units, and we don't like RTW peasants image, do we? So... Is there anybody capable of doing it, or even willing to learn this art (which is very simple, really!). Can't I do it myself? Well, of course I can But if I would not have to do it myself I could use this saved time to look after some more difficult matters

    That's great news!
I could probably do some of the images, but don't you need milkshape for it? I only have GIMP at the moment and I don't intend to buy any other software related to image manipulation.

Yes, you will need also Milkshape3d, but for now you can just download a 30-days long trial of it

If you really want, you can send me the files and I'd try to make a couple of icons within the trial, but it'd most likely not be worth the effort.

We'll see I sent you a package via private message.
Meanwhile I'm doing some tests, trying to find and remove bugs, crashes, and so on.

There is still much work to be done on this project and I wont be able to finish it as I'm working alone and I don't have much time to work on it due to real life activities. I will propably release it in alpha version, lacking many features I was planning to add. When? It's hard to tell really. Surely in 2019 Below you can see some shots of Knights of Tuscany.

Glad you like it I've gathered materials (historical coats of arms of that period) also for knights of Venice and Bologna, maybe I will finish them someday For now I'm getting rid of bugs.

Personally? Pretty well In terms of working on mod? Not so well Why there are so many responsibilities in real life? Maybe I'll quit my job to finally finish this project Can't promise anything, but I'll try at least to balance units stats, without this even custom battles are unplayable, nobody wants to see his knights being demolished by some militia unit, right?

Totally. I'm happy to hear that you're alright. The mod's lacking progress is only a small turndown by comparison, but a pity nonetheless. I really hope it'll get better sometime. It could possibly help using a fixed formula for unit stats/cost balance.

Wishing you all the best, Hellvard. I've had similar challenges with my mod. Help is hard to find and everyone's time is very limited. However, I'm not giving up and I'm sure you aren't going to, either.

Is work on the modem in progress? This mod looks perfect. Of course, I can help you edit files.

    Hello there guys,

I have a little announcement. I put a lots of work into this project, and although releasing it in the form it was meant to be in is beyond my reach, not releasing it at all would be a great waste. And I become a little tired of posting here and on Moddb that I have no time to work on my mod. The thing is, situation hasn't changed unfortunately, but I decided that I wll continue work on it every day, even if that would mean literally spending just a 10-15 minutes of some minor tweaking. The plan is to firstly check everything I put into this mod through all these years, and see what is working, what has to be fixed and which things I can get rid off. After that I will decide if it's playable enough to be released. With a little bit of luck, maybe some M2 fans will even live up to that day

    Regards,

    Hellv.
