you will find the beta of DIK version 5.0 below. As I have announced a couple of months ago, not all planned features could be realized. Nevertheless, I wish you much fun with this, sadly, unfinished part of the Italian Wars.

For all of our newly added "minifactions" won't be any factions specific events.
However, they will be included in the existing info events, etc.
The family dynasty feature will only be available for Genoa, Ragusa, Siena and the Papal States.

The beta installation is a standalone, you don't need any previous versions of TIW!

I'd not say I won't carry on, but I need to have time to do so.

Please do not stop, 16th century is my favorite time frame for war, art and politics! It is a great transitional period in warfare with a lot of experiments in tactics and formations. I lament how Francois I lost at Pavia when he should have won. If he only let his artillery finish shaken Emperor's troops but then he commanded that stupid cavalry charge that blocked the fire of his artillery and got massacred by the Spanish musketeers and let every block of his infantry - Landsknecht ''Black Band, Swiss and the French - be beaten and destroyed separately by the combined Spanish-German army. He could have won on his huge artillery superiority alone.

For me is the battle of Ravenna the most impressive one.
There was also a large contingent of artillery involved, especially on the French side with Alfonso d'Este.
Sadly one of the most promising French commanders was killed, Gaston de Foix.

Is it intentional for the Hafsids to not be able to recruit units?

As you can see in the list above, the strat models, as well as, the units are crossed out.
Means they are not included
