Default Nature of Life's Narrative (Fate, Free Will etc)

How do you believe your life is governed? Answer the poll!

I personally believe its a bit of Chaos Theory spliced with free will. In that generally speaking, you can attribute certain events down to a chain of interrelated and connected events. That said, I tend to think the human mind is quite capable of throwing in the odd monkey wrench, or the odd random number quite simply that sometimes messes up the flow of Chaos.

I voted Chaos Theory though, since I guess it makes up the vast majority of natural processes.

Existence is ruled by equations and iron laws ( though some of the laws we still have to figure out). Humans are a third party ( in modder terms). Although we are part of existance, we also transcend existance. Part of us lives by unescapable iron laws, part of us lives beyond any laws and lives by free will.
I see things like this; existance is a large river flowing down an infinite path which can be calculated by finding the path of least resistance. Humans are standing just outside the reach of that river digging a canal.
