Well ah nice idea

Well, i know the people that made the rtr series are Ulimate! But, this is just an idea, why don't u put back peasants back inside the city and depending where u are u can have more than one type of peasant like when u zoom inside your city you can see the soldiers and roman, greek and barbarian peasants both male and female. U can only see that when u are in european part of the map. On the eastern side you can see barbarian, greek, eastern peasants with soldiers too. Well it would be nice if you could do that. Cause i do know that soldiers were not the only people walking through a city (real realism). And the territories that the faction conquered would see at least some of their citizens. I may not be a pro, but i really want to be one which is going to take ah while! Well thanks rtr team and those who ans my questions before!

I'm pretty sure vanilla RTW had that feature - just normal citizens walking round the streets if you looked at your city during peacetime. However, these peasants take up valuable space in the EDU, a text file with a finite limit of how many models can be entered into it; the reason they are no longer present in RTR is in the interest of modders who wish to add more actual units to the game.

There's, i think, 13 free spaces in the EDU in an unmodded version or RTR or RTRPE, so you could potentially mod the peasants back into it if you wished. If you would like to know how to just post here and I'm sure someone with a little more time would be pleased to help you
