Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Any clues? Thanks in advance!

It has to do with the window settings of how the model will look like.
    Right ckic on the window.
    Go to transparency
Select depthe buffed with alfa reference.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

It's not a problem with the model.
Just the way milkshape shows it.
To get a more "traditional" view of the model, right-click on the milkshape window to bring up the preferences menu for that window and click on the Transparecy sub-menu.
There put the tick on the Depth Buffered with Alpha Reference option.

My friend we all started like you. I was a History researcher but the mods i was working on needed (that time) modelers. There is not bigest dummy than me I warn you.
But inside the CBUR/TGC fellowship i was forthuned enough to have teachers like Absinthia,=NF=Basileios the 2nd,Matthaeus,Lord Calidor,Sumskilz, Socal Infidel that were pentioned enough to explain to me with details step by step while they were still researching new boundies of modeling.
Also i was honored to be the 1st that recieved material from the famous Rusichi-MARKA team with plently of advices.
For the rest...This workshop site had always someone available to help and explain and to all those i own a huge gratitude.
Just like I recieved help i am glad to help with my humble knowlege. Don't be fool about my moddeling skills. I am famous "Frankenstein" of modding.
That meens that you can take a fragment of an existing model , "dress" it diferently and make it a diferent object.
All you need is imagination and basic knowlege.
Example: Few years ago the crazy coordinator of CBUR/TGC asked his modelers to add as much as possible 3d details on their model in order to look natural.
Untill that momment all shields were like floating on the air side by side to models arms.
Absinthia responded with two parts attached to CBUR/TGC shields and assigned to proper bones.

Can you see the two leather straps on the back sides of shields.

Another matter that emerged was that if we made arm greaves part of the arm textures we would limited our choices.
So we needed despertly 3d arm and leg greaves that in close distances would not hide the arms or legs textures under them.
So..I took a shield, errased everything expept on of the shield leather strap. I made it straight (moving its vertices) and placed it on a greaves texture. I duplicated 5 more times and placed them in proper angle arround the arm. Finally i duplicated them 3 more times, shrinked them and put them on a leather texture.
The result is what you see on those warriors arm greaves. They are actually the same model of the leather strapes of the shields but not assigned them on arms bones.
The exact same part gave me a long desired solution about Roman leather stripes of helmets.
Take a close look on the horseman's helmet in the left side or the picture.

Coif models by Rusichi are perfect for chain ones (see previus picture) and the one the the closest horsemen (also leather) uses.
But they could not be used for leather stripes one because their UV maps could not allow the texture to look proper.
So again i took Absithia's leather strap of the shield , dublicated it many times , reformed it to fit with the helmets and the shoulders of the model and voila!
The leather stripes are as accurate and realistic as none else can be.
See? Al you need is imagination to take a part and transform it to an other.

I don't know animations, making skeletons of my own, UV unwrap or any of the modelling software above milkshape...
I am just well versed in the aspects of milkshape that are usefull for doctoring models for M2TW.

Hi. I have the same problem, but selecting Depth buffered with Alpha doesn't help.
