    To answer if someone still plays Empire, yes I know, Napoleon is a LOT better for battles.
    But, I like naval combat, and Napoleon's naval campaign is downright lame whereas Empire gives me the whole world to navigate around. I just would like a decent AI to play with for the occasional land battle.

    The mod does load though (because musket range increases). But the AI sees no improvement whatsoever.

    I'm suprised to hear that you didn't see any improvement in AI behaviour on the battlefield. I've had a great time using this mod for land battles (I gave examples of some differences in post 5 on this thread). I don't know if it has an effect on sea battles (you mentioned above that you like naval combat).

    Unfortunately, when besieging a fort, the AI always makes a sortie if you are trying to capture the walls. Even if the balance of power is absolutely not in favor of the AI.
