House Brax and his vassals, House Lydden of Deep Den and House Moreland of Moreland are seemingly the only remaining westermen, supporting King Aerys II and the Iron Throne.
there wasn't much information about the other western nobles but rumors made their way and spread all over the seven kingdoms.
King Aerys gave order to Lord Andros Brax and his men, "dont let any army pass the great road towards Kings Landing".
because of that all of the available forces, King Aerys could spare and Lord Brax could raise should gather at Hornvale and prepare for battle.

The atmosphere is tense, the dusk brings cold and the men are lost in their thoughts "fighting our own kind, our own people"
there is uncertainty and purposefulness at the same time, yet again a dragon will bring death no matter what.

a month has past since Lord Brax has deployed this large of an army at Hornvale.
its a rather small castle compared to most of the other western strongholds and clearly not designed for a force of this size. everyone is strained because of the lack of space and food shortage.

finally rumors appear of Lord Lannister mustering soldiers at Casterly Rock. a strange spirit passes through the holdfast, there was a great relief but on the other side uncertainty about the upcoming weeks, what would happen? was there a way to end this without bloodshed? most likely not...
A big battle would take place, maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow but there was no way arround thats for sure.

have finally decided to join up with Lord Brax's forces and fight against the despicable Maelys Blackfyre and his treacherous supporters.
a huge uplift started to affect the Host of the Loyal West, with this additional number of troops King Aerys chances winning this war would increase considerably
